I’m always open to trying different Indian restaurants and since this one had a decent reputation, I thought I would give it a go. Since it was early evening, the restaurant was empty. After ordering sparkling water, the poppadoms and spiced onions followed. The spiced onions were gloopy and lacked flavour. The poppadoms were not warm and had “the day before taste”. I ordered the tandoori chicken on the bone with a chasni sauce and rice. The chicken was not freshly made although it arrived on a sizzling platter: just because it sizzles doesn’t mean it will sing! The onions and peppers on said platter were not seasoned. You can see in the picture, the chicken was also overcooked; that stringy looking texture is always a clue. It really tasted like last night’s leftover buffet. The chasni sauce was lacking in flavour and warmth. The rice was not basmati and was lukewarm. The service was good and the young guy was doing his best. I’m afraid the only thing that sparkled was the San Pellegrino ( Italian for pilgrim) water and this pilgrim will not be returning.

One of the best restaurants in Glasgow, a true hidden gem. The food is wonderfully authentic, with the momos being an absolute highlight. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the chef, in particular, is exceptionally welcoming and very kind and very friendly.

Ordered a pizza and got a walking vegetable garden—carrots, peas & french beans as if curry is spread on top of a pizza base! Awful
experience.

Food & Gems Glasgow
This is such a hidden gem! It’s kinda located in an awkward looking building where you have to head upstairs to the restaurant. The vibes are very ol’ skool, like you’re going to a family friendly Indian restaurant. The food also is exceptional! One of my favourite places in the city, especially for momos and butter chicken.

Went along to the restaurant with my husband this evening like we have done many times before and again the food was lovely and staff are always very pleasant and helpful especially Marius who looked after our table this evening. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning, always a nice evening out.
They also have a good Christmas Day option available and Christmas Karaoke nights.
Free car parking at the back of the restaurant

Fantastic place we found very local to our apartment when in Glasgow. Food is very authentic desi style. Clean restaurant and service was very prompt.
Tadka daal is awesome and should try it with plain rice. We also tried Divan’s special chicken biryani too and was delicious and spicy. We didn’t go for buffet but was very busy in the evening. The menu is huge on Buffett too.
They have a huge car park at the back and does have few stairs to negotiate. All in all very happy to find a desi joint in Glasgow.

Can’t fault this place at all – our party of 10 were very well looked after by Marius and the team – food was as good as anywhere else in the city with plenty of Nepalese specialties as well as the more-recognisable Indian fayre. Great selection of freshly-made pizzas too – made in a pizza oven. Cobra on tap. Highly recommended.

It was an OK Indian food experience here. Paneer and Chicken was not good, it seems like they were not fresh.

Service was good, no issues or complaints on that side. For vegetarian guest options are available, however again the food test was not good. The restaurant has a drink bar also available to order drinks.
The atmosphere and cleanliness were also ok.
