I originally started this review with a short list of things I didn’t like about this place. I decided that was silly, because when the food came out, I stopped caring about any of that. The grilled salmon was awesome. The tuna tartare was also really good. Then the server ran a block and a half to catch me after I left my debit card there.

This whole is the wall could have been an amazing place. The downfall was the service. The three bartenders looked more interested in the game happening then serving patrons. If they, the bartenders, were assisting those eating/drinking it was met with attitude and annoyance. Many patrons who were seated at tables or surrounding the bar were left with empty glasses or cold food or burnt, such as ours. The food did have potential to be amazing, except it was cold. Honestly, as someone who was raised with manners (ie, please, thank you and you’re welcome) this place had none.

My fam and I had a wonderful experience. Drove up to Tampa for my daughter’s birthday and stopped here for lunch. Our server/waiter was great, I believe his name was Jonathan. He was excellent, friendly, and patient. We had a small conversation about his heritage because my daughter asked about the runes on his fingers and he happily shared the meaning of his tattoos and how they relate to his background. Imagine our surprise when we realized as we walked to our car that he marked our to go bag with one of the runes we discussed. See sent us home with the symbol of protection and safety, Algiz. This was the coolest and perfect way to end a wonderful birthday. We talked about it all the way home. This is what excellent customer service is all about.

Chicken tender Caesar wrap was very tasty and delicious. Our waiter was very nice and was refilling are drinks constantly. It is a sports bar after all so it’s pretty loud, but it’s expected. Would be back again

A very casual dining experience geared more towards the party scene yet does not skimp out on food quality! The dishes came out promptly, tasted delicious, and the service was very accommodating. Definitely recommend a visit if you’re planning a night out with friends.

Great corner location! We were seated immediately which is always good. I ordered margarita flatbread with chicken. My dish had an unusual sauce and didn’t quite taste like the traditional margarita flatbread. At first, my husband thought my food was burnt but it was the sauce color. Even though I didn’t quite enjoy my meal, the rest of the family loved their dishes. The experience was still enjoyable.

Four 60+ year old women go on a sunday prior to Stevie Nicks concert. Order a round of drinks. The bar is crowded with folks watching football. We debate if we should eat there or not. We ordered.
I got a burger and fries. when the meal came i tasted a fry. it didnt taste right but tried another…nope…had an odd taste.
Fixed the burger ( mustand and ketchup) and took a bit. oh no….something definitely not right.
I discreetly spoke with an “owner” . No disrespect, no bad words, no yelling. She told me thank you for letting me know.
After signing the receipt for bill, (minus the burger and fries) and leaving the almost nonexistent waitress a good tip), an
” owner” comes over to me and says” you are a very bad les”:^n” . i was shocked. she turned into a nut job. i have never been spoken to this is my life. My nieces had noticed she had been standing off the side of the restaurant drinking while we were in the place. Aftet her insult i then i offered her a smell of the burger and fries. Of course she didnt want to smell it and pointed to the door and said “out”.
What on earth?
If you cant take criticism
( done in private) you are in the wrong business.

Great place to eat & drink. Our appetizer: boneless wings with classic buffalo sauce, for dinner, fried chicken sandwich with fries and mac & cheese with chicken. Delicious & fresh, large portions, we left with take away boxes. Our waitress, Danielle was very professional & attentive. I highly recommend the “District Tavern”.
