Stopped in for a little dinner and a few drinks. Sat at the bar. Staff were friendly but it did take a while to get noticed. We had the wings, which were super dry so go another direction there. We also had the pork rib plate. Again the ribs had a good taste but were super dry. The Mac and cheese and the baked beans were great. Served with corn bread which was also good. But we were bbq disappointed. But, if you are looking for a place to stop and don’t want to walk down the road a bit you should give it a try. Maybe it was an off day.

Be prepared to wait 15 minutes to place a to go order even if you have a table because there’s only one waiter but 5 bar tenders so it’s quicker to place a to go order than sit around for the waiter.

My friend was in town for the weekend so I decided we could explore the Plant Riverside District. Great idea because the Georgia Senate Debate was at the JW Marriott and the scents of BBQ from the District Smokehouse pulled us in! We were so glad we decided to eat there. The fine bartender, Jose, was super nice, cool and accommodating! The District Smokehouse burger with beef brisket, smashed burger, queso and pickles was absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while!!! You gotta try it! Just an FYI, for your side item choose the Mac n Cheese which was really good. The coleslaw was horrible as it had no taste. They offer collard greens, baked beans, etc but they have pork in them. Overall great outdoor adult dining experience!

I had a baked potato here 2 years ago and came back again this year. It was just as awesome as I remembered it. 10/10 a must in Savannah. Even my family that doesn’t like bbq loves this place- it’s really that good. Also I tried the Mac n cheese and it was sooooo good. I mean just look at it! I have yet to find another bbq spot that makes bomb potatoes like this place. I can’t wait to come back again someday.

So delish! We got the pulled pork mac n cheese and it was out of this world! Also got the grilled cheese and that was good as well! Atmosphere is relaxed and service is very good. Our server was Bobbi, she was super sweet and honest about what her favorite meal was ! Would recommend

Great food and atmosphere. Was a little concerned it would be too cold by the river (it was in 30’s) but the heaters are fantastic. Actually took off our jackets and were still comfortable.
