I’m visiting Washington DC so I found this spot from a search. Trying to find this place is torture if you don’t already know where to go. Finding a menu is also close to impossible. It’s a ghost kitchen that only offers to go orders. It’s located inside of Clyde’s Restaurant at Gallery Place. Fast forward to me getting where I needed to go, but remember this is a ghost kitchen – there are no physical menus and apparently no virtual ones either. The hostess pulled the menu from Seamless (a delivery app) for me to order from but it’s not completely accurate.
Fast forward a little more and we ordered a Cubano, DC Half Smoke and Half Smoke Mac-n-Cheese. The food is actually pretty good even after walking with it back to the hotel. The bread was still crispy and the Mac was still creamy.
Overall, I would go back for the food. They definitely need to update to their location so out of towners know where to go. The menu also needs to be accessible on the site.

Grilled cheese done right! Perfectly toasted, don’t skimp on the cheese, and the bacon is successfully grilled inside the sandwich unlike some other local places….. and the tomato soup was delivered with a lid that stayed firmly on for no spills.

Warning: the listing says there’s a dine-in option but that’s not true. It’s a pick-up only delivery ghost kitchen. My family and I spent 20 minutes walking around the cavernous building trying to find it, and employees at other nearby businesses had never heard of it. I ended up ordering from across the street and picking up myself (in Clyde’s on the second floor). My kids ate it at a nearby counter restaurant whose employees looked the other way when we brought it outside food (we also ordered a lot from them). Food was okay but nothing special. Moral of the story: for delivery services only.

The sandwiches are huge and delicious. One sandwich is easily enough for two people to share. My favorite sandwich is the all american. Soooooo good! I have only gotten my sandwiches delivered, so I don’t have a review for the pick up experience. I have ordered from here too many times to count.

Ordered for the first time from them off Uber last night — absolutely fantastic. Got the Philly & Mac + tots. I literally never write reviews for food but they deserve it. It came perfectly, portions were massive, and it tasted amazing. Do not hesitate to eat here, it’s a gem.
