District has a really cool vibe , especially on Fridays when DJ Kinfolk is on Honestly , that’s the main reason I go & he always keeps it live. The food is really good, and the drinks are made perfectly every time! Strong, balanced, and consistent.
My only small complaint: the first couple of times I came, I ordered wings and fries & got all flats .. now all of a sudden I can’t get all flats anymore Minor issue though.
Overall, great atmosphere, great music, good food, & solid drinks. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Friday nights.

This spot has become my favorite bar and lounge in the Richmond area for Friday Soul Line Dancing! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a fun night out with good hip hop and R&B music.
The level of service and hospitality here is truly exceptional. As a vegan, I appreciated the owners’ personal touch. I will start by saying AMAZING EVERYTHING, ASHLEY IS VERY VIBRANT , ALONG WITH HER DRINKS SHE IS BEAUTIFUL ALL THE WAY DOWNNNNN!! THE CHEF , HAD TO GET HIM TO COME OUT CAUSE BABBBYYY DEFINITELY NEEDED TO SLAP HIM FOOD IS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE (757/804 ) THAT I HAVE TASTED AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST MRS.NATALIE YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING WHEN YOU PUT THIS ESTABLISHMENT TOGETHER. Overall 4.6 (I round up). We arrived when they first opened so we were able to take in the place before the crowd arrived. We were looking forward to dinner and good conversation and the atmosphere provided us that. The place was spacious and well designed, I loved the layout and decor. The TV over the bar is nice and huge. The food was ok. The calamari was a bit crisper than I desired, but consumable. They were out of a couple items, which is the reason for the 4.6. The staff members were great and the person behind the bar made some delicious drinks, with great presentation!!! They looked almost too good to drink. Overall, we enjoyed it, as it was our first time there. We’ve took a vote already and dropped a pin and will be returning.

Was very upset while attending Donnell Jones and Carl Thomas concert. I traveled from Northern VA for this show. The show was advertised from 9pm to 2am. They both came on stage at 12am and only performed 3 songs a piece. A total of 20 minutes. Secondly had to stand up from 10pm to 1:30am because it was a standup event. That was not how it was advertised. To get seated at a table was very expensive. I paid over $200.00 for 2 tickets, plus hotel stay, and gas for this crap. District 804 BAD BUSINESS AND ADVERTISEMENT!!! One of the security guards at the door informed one of the female workers not sure if she was part of the management team that I expressed I was leaving a bad review because of what I stated above and she replied oh well leave one. WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!! So glad I ate dinner at Lillie Pearl before attending this dump!!!! The team that runs this place has absolutely NO CLASS!!! Now I see why the saying goes the love of money is the root of evil. People will do anything to get your money but will not provide the service!!!

Me and my people have been coming here faithfully for over a year before they closed and after they reopened. The service has changed drastically. They will post about hookah and drink promotions and when we come in they say they don’t have a promotion even after we show the flyer, eventually they will put on the promotion after talking to a manager. The staff argues and miscommunicates amongst one another. We wait for 20+ minutes for someone to check on us and refill drinks most weekends. The women’s bathroom doesn’t have locks on 2 of the 3 doors and never has toilet paper. Servers drink on the job and it results in us having to ask more than 2 times for drinks because they forget.
Today alone we had to pay $20 a person to come in and got bad service and only had someone bring us drinks once in the hour and a half we been here so we had to go to the crowded bar to get our drinks ourselves. In this time frame we did ask our server for water and a modelo and never got it after waiting for over 30 minutes. Also it takes so long to get new coals for the hookah to the point the hookah isn’t lit anymore and we can’t smoke anymore of it and it seems to be a waste of $45.
I understand the establishment gets super busy but they definitely need more communication amongst themselves. To serve everyone accordingly. No reason for people helped after us to get everything they need before us

District 804 did not disappoint! The drinks were absolutely perfect, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was lit from the moment I walked in. The vibe, the music, the energy everything came together for one of the best nights I’ve ever had in Richmond.
If you’re looking for great cocktails, good food, and a place that keeps the party going, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!

No one helped to find me a seat. Nice atmosphere. Men staff a little hostile. I’m a lot older than they are. Don’t put your hands on me again! (I don’t like being tapped on the shoulder or anything!) I didn’t get to order my food.
