This Mediterranean place has plenty of seating and has a nice ambiance. It’s a casual nice setting. The restaurant is located in a small outdoor strip mall that has several other types of food options. At Dish Dash, you order at the counter and they give you an electronic number that tells them where you’re sitting. They bring the food out to you. I got the chicken Greek salad. It was good. I didn’t like the pita chips because it had some sort of herb spice on them that I wasn’t a fan of. I think if they left that off, I would’ve liked it better. For a side, I chose the lentil soup and it was really good. I would recommend this salad. Also, I got the mint lemonade and it was really good. My friends got:
Salad with falafel and hummus.
Lamb wrap.
Both of them loved their dish.
I like that the restaurant puts to-go-boxes and extra sauces/dressing on the counter! This is so convenient and efficient.
There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. We came on a Thursday at 6p. There wasn’t a wait and plenty of seating; however, soon after there wasn’t a line to order. I would come back here again.

This franchise restaurant is popular among high-tech workers in Silicon Valley. It is very crowded during weekday lunches. It is especially popular with people who love Mediterranean food.

Dish n Dash is a great spot in North San Jose to grab lunch with coworkers. The wait can be a bit long midday, but it moves pretty fast. We came in around 12:15 on a Tuesday and were seated by 12:40pm.

I ordered the chicken shawarma salad (medium), which comes with two sides (tabbouleh and baba ganoush) and pita. The serving size is generous — I brought leftovers home.

Our group of 5 was able to find seating pretty easily. It’s nice that they have outdoor seating, too. Parking can be tight, so we had to find parking around the corner from the complex and walk over.

The chicken shawarma salad was 17.95$ before tip, and I took home leftovers. Staff are friendly and attentive — overall, a great work day lunch option!

Had one of the best Mediterranean meals anywhere. I liked it some much that I came back the very next day. I had the chicken kabobs one day one and then the lamb kabobs on day two. Sides of hummus and lentil soup. Absolutely exactly what I was hoping for.

I’m vegetarian and this is hands-down, my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. They have many dishes to choose from for a vegetarian and big portions so get a take away box. The food is absolutely delicious.

Brilliant food. Love the tenderness of meat and the flavours. The Sweet Beet juice was refreshingly good. The only change I’d love to see is a Picture based Menu for those who aren’t familiar with eating here. It can be a little hard for new comers to comprehend what their meal looks like and how much are they getting.

Hands down the best food in bay area.
I have tried the chicken shawarma platter with hummus and fries. Chicken kabobs with red pepper walnut dip, babaganoush. I have also ordered salmon multiple times.

Oh my! Food is gourmet every single time! Service and taste is consistent and prices are great for the portion size and quality.

Highly highly recommend.

If you are a bay area local, this is a healthy dinner for everyday (even for people who work out like me).
If you are visiting bay area, this is the one place to try. Either go to Dish Dash San jose or Milpitas (I have only tried these two so do not know about others) or if you have limited time just go to dish and dash Express.

Love this place

Food is generally pretty good unless you complain when you see them not wearing gloves or giving stale fries. Then they get defensive and give stale fries every time you order even if you come everyday. Also I’ve found small strips of plastic in their food, in anything that contains chickpeas I think, on more than 1 occasion. It’s pretty obvious, how could staff not know?
