We’re an American waterfront restaurant with a touch of Asian flair–an eclectic selection of meats and seafood as well as vegetarian dishes and salads. We offer an extensive wine list, rotating beers and full liquor bar. Located at the marina in Dover Bay, just 3 short miles west of Downtown Sandpoint, we’re open year-round seven nights per week with very few exceptions. We also serve lunch during the summer months. Established in 2009, our friendly, talented and knowledgeable staff has proudly served our community the finest experience around.

New menu was dropped today and oh my gosh it was absolutely amazing !!! Not many photos of dinner because it looked so beautifully delicious, my party of 5 devoured everything before the thought of taking photos came into mind. The desserts pictured are the GF carrot cake and a black berry crème brûlée. The meal is the Delicata salad with sockeye! Outstanding! We left barely able to move from fullness. Our server was Cliff, he was humorous and took great care of us. Thank you Dish for putting effort and love into every plate!

I thought I had given a review but apparently not. My husband and I came for our anniversary early April. We arrived just before the dinner hour, lucky for us, as there was no one else there except the staff. We were greeted as if we were expected VIPs lol and seated promptly right at the window to the bay, gorgeous!
Our waiter was very friendly and informative with the recommendations. Our food arrived, plated simply but beautiful. I had the Salmon, my husband the fish and chips. Food was very good, very flavorful and cooked well. Our drinks were good, I tried a smoked old fashioned which was entertaining and good! The restaurant had filled up by dessert but the staff worked their tables as if each table was the only one in the room giving complete attention to their guest. I liked that. Dessert was delicious, I have dairy issues so I ordered the carrot cake without icing just to taste a tid bit lol my husband got it next morning, he really enjoyed it plus the huckleberry cobbler he ordered.
Overall, I recommend The Dish it was well worth it.

What a gem! My server Cliff was polite, helpful and attentive, ensuring my experience was a great one. As for the food, the Portobello Fries were out of this world! The balsamic and garlic glazes worked so well with these fries. I also had the Buttermilk Chicken which was delicious and cooked to perfection. Did I mention the waterfront location – which made for a great vibe. I’ll be back!!!

A lot of people recommend this place when going out on the water, but I wasn’t as impressed. The food itself was alright, but I felt the service was hit or missed. I got the tuna poke bowl, and it was fresh, albeit not filling. If you want something light, this would be a good option.

Such a great place for a drink on the patio to watch the sunset. It’s a great environment! Great summer patio. The food is very tasty and often has a fusion element. One of the better wine list in the Sandpoint area.

We had a lunch with a couple drinks. First salad was brought out wrong but quick made right. Mix drinks were lacking of any alcohol. Mostly juice. The hamburger I had was good. We sat outside and enjoyed the view.
