Attending a softball game in Charleston, IL, and this place was recommended to us. Staff were friendly, and the service was good. Order placed and a drink enjoyed while waiting. Food arrives before expected, and it looks great. I noticed the homemade chips were coated with a white seasoning, which I was told was dry Italian and Ranch. They tasted great. The 3 of us all commented on the food tasting good. We would definitely return again.

While I can’t say I enjoyed the music – the two most important categories were awesome! I am not sure of the bartender’s name but they were great – this was December 3, 2025 at approximately 6:00 pm. Made amazing martinis … food was very solid! Hadn’t been there in a few years because we thought it had really gone downhill. We will be back soon!! Thank you!

What I like about Dirty’s is that it’s consistent. I know that when I eat here, the food is going to be good, the cocktails are going to be delicious and the beer is going to be cold.
I’ve eaten here a lot and have had just about everything on the menu. The burgers are a great go-to if you can’t decide what to order. The pile is great if you want a little bit of everything and are willing to tackle a mountain of food.
Wait staff is super friendly and attentive. Food comes out really fast even during dinner rush.

Well this was my second time here in two years the first time wasn’t a great experience. My daughter talked me into a second try. And this time not only has the speed of service improved the food quality has vastly improved. Those spicy cheese things are VERY good my taco salad (I didn’t get jalapeño) was absolutely huge with generous portions of meat fresh avacado. Romaine lettuce which I was happy to see over iceberg. Great experience our waitress was friendly very busy and super fast. After this experience I will be back for more.

Whenever I am in Charleston for work, I do spend some of my lunches and once and a while, dinners, at Dirty’s Bar and Grill. The staff here are welcoming, and I have always had bartenders make good suggestions for both beverages and food. This place isn’t a fancy restaurant but a familiar place for decent bar food and nice sports bar with each season. My two go to entrees is the yum yum bowl where they have strips of steak over a bed of rice and vegetables and it is glazed over with some in house yum yum sauce, a must try. My second go to is the fish tacos, which are offered fried or grilled. There’s a good variety of food here and a lot of options that I haven’t tried yet, and they do change up their menu every now and again, so if you are a local you will be able to try something new. They have several desserts but what sticks out to me the most are these rolls of cookie dough which are wrapped in wonton wrappers, fried, and placed in a martini glass with a scoop of ice cream. And I am easy to please.

In town for a school event and looked for a spot to watch some football. Wouldn’t call it a sports bar, but they have a few medium sized TVs so it worked fine. Good spot overall. Service and food, I have no complaints. I’d visit again.

We came here on a relatively busy afternoon (weekend of girl’s state track meet) and were seated immediately with a group of 10. Our server moved quickly was able to get drinks and food order within 5 minutes. The kitchen was quick as well; we waited for probably no more than 15 minutes after order was placed. I was very surprised how good the food was for a bar/grill. A pretty extensive menu from rice bowls and fish tacos to piles/horshoes. I got the traditional pile with buffalo chicken and loved it. The flip it and reverse it grilled cheese was also another group favorite. Drink menu and specials also looked good but we did not partake. Atmosphere definitely caters to a more barlike crowd, but there were several families present. Overall, one of the best food establishments I’ve visited in Charleston.
