Went through the drive through and got two sandwiches. Sandwiches tasted OK, but they were swimming in sauce. I had to hold mine with a napkin at all times. Also the price per sandwich was $15.99 with no chips or drink. Not nearly enough bang for your buck, especially compared to other sandwich shops.

Completely blown away by the sandwiches at Dirty South! Our family went here yesterday with a party of 6, and so I got to try several different sandwiches and each one was exceptional! Still so many more that I want to try. Their food is really on par with some of the best local hole-in-the wall sandwich shops I’ve been to all around the country. Nothing like this in Louisiana. I will be a regular here. Excited to have such a good sandwich spot here in town!

We stopped in for a quick bite, not expecting to be blown away by the sandwiches here. I ordered the Bachelor with Havarti and the sweet jalapeño sauce, and I have to say that’s the best sandwich I’ve had in some time. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and being a family-owned place, you can feel the pride that goes into this fantastic food establishment.
The next time I’m in Prairieville, I’ll be stopping by for another amazing sandwich from Dirty South.

Just had Dirty South for the first time. Really good sandwich. Tried the daily special “Italian Stallion” and they did not skimp on the meat. The price is a little high for the sandwich at first glance but when you see the amount of meat you get, it’s worth the price. The service was fast and friendly and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The full sandwich is cut in two and you can really get full on a half. I recommend giving them a try!

Dirty South has such an eclectic vibe — cool décor and a fun atmosphere that makes it stand out. The menu is unique, with options you don’t see at your typical sandwich shop.
I tried the Cajun Turkey and it was absolutely delicious — hot, pressed, packed with flavor, and huge!
A couple of notes: it’s definitely on the pricey side ($42 for two sandwiches, two drinks and a bag of chips), and I wish they offered half sandwiches for a smaller (and more affordable) option.
Also, an unsweetened tea choice would be great for those of us who don’t drink sweet tea.
Still, overall a great experience and worth a visit if you’re craving a next-level sandwich.

The food was okay, but honestly not worth the price. My sandwich had way too much ham, which overpowered everything else, and for $18 it was surprisingly small. It also didn’t include a side or a drink, so for that price I really don’t think it’s worth it. The flavor was decent, but portion size and balance just didn’t match the price point. The staff, however, was very friendly, which I appreciated!

Had the Down & Dirty sandwich and it was fantastic! What a great change of pace from the typical sandwich spots around here. Much higher quality ingredients than others and it’s obvious after the first bite! The chip variety was a nice surprise as well. We will definitely be back soon!

Decent sandwich that’s well overpriced. We enjoyed our Sandwiches and the chips were excellent but $40 for 2 sandwiche combos is pretty ridiculous.

The sandwiches were great – plenty of meat and seasoned well. The prices are high for a sandwich with no side included. I decided not to purchase a side because they were very small for the price. They have a great concept but there’s a restaurant a couple doors down with great sandwiches so I’m not sure I would choose this over that.

If you haven’t tried Dirty South Sandwich House you are missing out! The Cajun Turkey, Italian Stallion and The Batchelor is what we ordered and we loved all of them! The bread, seasoning and customer service is on point! We will be returning! I can’t wait to try something else on the menu!
