We all loved the amazing food. The wife lover here elk tatchoes. My hash was great. My son’s twisted Ruben was tasty, and the daughter in law likes her French toast with fried bananas.

Delicious breakfast options, Bloody Mary’s and great service! It’s a bar/restaurant and 21 and over only allowed. Fun vibe with old black and white vintage prohibition photos. Recommend the pork verde Benedict and the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was light and gravy was perfectly balanced with flavor and not heavy at all. The spicy Bloody Mary came with bacon and veggies and was more flavorful than hot, the way I like it. Visiting with friends that took us here so it was a fun group experience.

The service was amazing and food came out quickly. My 1st impression upon walking in was the smell. It smelled like dirty mop water or something. I almost turned around. The Chicken and Waffles was pretty good. The chicken was really well seasoned!

We heard about it in TV and it was highly recommended, so decided to try it. We had the fish and chips – it was a little spicy, but the fries and sauces were yummy! Also had the black bean burger, it was really big with lots of toppings on it, great presentation but it lacked flavor. It’s a typical dive bar inside, nothing fancy in a popular neighborhood. Parked about a block away in a residential area. Nice staff, not overly friendly.

What a gem this place is right in Tacoma. We were just checking this place out as we saw some good reviews on a website. Let me tell you they were all true and their food, service, and vibe are outstanding. The food is delicious and servings large enough to feed two people. Come and see them you will leave with a smile on your face and battling food coma it is that good. Beers and other drinks are ice cold and compliments the food great.

$28 for a monte Cristo breakfast sandwich? In what world is that ok? And this meat is disgusting I can’t even tell what’s in there. So incredibly frustrating. I’ll never be back and I will go out of my way to tell people not to come here. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Following another exciting 90 minutes of what ended up turning into a physical torture session instead of therapy, it was off on a new dining adventure. We had driven by Dirty Oscar’s in our dining search. Today was the day we decided to see what they were all about.
There is a huge sign as you enter saying you must be 21 and you must show ID. Sadly, neither Ray nor I were carded which I suppose must mean we do look old enough for them to be positive we are above legal drinking age.
We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Menus and drink specials were left for us to peruse while the bartender attended to other customers.
Breakfast is served all day and there was more than one option which caught my eye. Ditto with lunch but I decided on breakfast, specifically chicken and waffles.
The waffle comes stuffed with bacon, sweet seasoned butter, syrup and three pieces of chicken. The pieces are a breast, thigh and drumstick. I asked if I could substitute the thigh and drumstick for two chicken wings. I was told no but I could have two chicken breasts. SCORE!!!! Oh yeah!!! Order placed!!!
Ray ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. He opted for the Rosemary fries, over regular fries, which cost $1 more. We both ordered coffee. We were happy to wait while a fresh pot was made.
Our food arrived and WOW!!! My chicken breasts were huge, boneless with a tasty, crunchy, slightly warm (spicy) coating, and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. I was a little skeptical of the powdered sugar but it was a beautiful enhancement!! The chicken was tender and juicy. The waffle was loaded with bacon, and was still light and crispy.
I requested a second plate so I could move my chicken and butter and cover my waffle with syrup. The plate wasn’t big enough or the chicken was too big to move to the side. Both were acceptable dilemmas. I was only able to eat one of the breasts. I took the other one home.
Ray’s sandwich had good flavor but was a little on the dry side due to a lack of au jus or condiments. The fries were thick and crispy but Ray learned Rosemary is not necessarily his liking. I tried to talk him into ordering the Garlic Parmesan fries but he passed, regretfully. He ate the other half of his sandwich for dinner last night. I made up a horseradish, mayonnaise mixture for him to use, and he said that worked well.
The bartender was friendly, attentive and cheery as she greeted and waited on everyone. Our food was excellent, and I personally complimented the cook for my meal.
We will definitely return!!! The dilemma will be whether I venture into a different menu option or stay with the chicken and waffle. Another good dilemma.

Had this place on my list for a while, and after going, I’m sorry I waited so long. First off the food is phenomenal. Everything is made in house including dressings and even their tater tots (which are stuffed). But even better then the food is the service, the guy that served us Friday later afternoon was a delight. I missed is name, but you can tell he cares about his customers, and loves his job. The prices are a little more expensive, but it’s all homemade and inhouse, so I will pay extra for that. Really enjoyed the NA beer with my burger too. Over all a 10 out of 10 experience.

We stopped in for breakfast. 1 of 2 groups there. Food was decent… wish there was better signage outside. There’s only the sign hidden above the awning. When you are walking from one direction you do not see it at all and there are no signs on the windows or door. It looks like a wood back door exit. Generally dark decor and dark bathroom that could be cleaner. Server was to the point but not exactly friendly. A bit on the spendy side.
