BOMB’s Flavors and Favorites
Let me just say, Ive been coming to the beach DD, since 1992…and its still one of my all time faves.
The food is always like coming home. All if the shellfish dishes are always well prepared, flavorful, and professionally served, per its matched atmosohere.
Its a fun and LOCAL feel. Where youll probably know everyines name, guests and servers, in a week. Its a welcoming water hole, that will top off even the most verascious appetite. From said seafood, to amazing bar food, with great seasoning, flavors and AMOUNT.
You can stop in with a jacket on and clients, or visit with flip flops, board shorts and a tank top.
The prices have remained good, for what is offered. Whike so many with less fresh, smaller portions, and bundled averageness, gets many others.
You can bring the kids, just remember, it IS a bar. People want to relax and embrace the atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating is offered at the strand location. And, on a warm day, its an awesome spot to enjoy the area.
I still appreciate the happy hour 1/2 off specials, when coming out of the water/off the sand, and not needing a pocket full of cash. Tho, well proced food diring standard times, is still a great bargain, for what Don’s delivers.
We are relocatiing to the area…and we JUST soent 4 of our seven days there, while eating out at other local faves. That is saying something, for a place Ive built my live for as a foodie, for over 30 years.

Sat on the patio with our pup. The food was fantastic. We got the roasted oysters (25) and the crab cake platter which came with cole slaw, hush puppies and a side. Our waitress was very attentive. The price was reasonable for rhe amount of food.

Came here for lunch and enjoyed the service and food! Great location even if it’s not beach side still had the seafood shack appeal. We dined outside as we had our dog with us and our server Christina was attentive and friendly. Had the oyster roast for an app and then we got the shrimp tacos and blackened fish sandwich (forgot to get a picture of the fish sandwich before my hubby devoured it ) Everything came out hot and tasted great! Be prepared to shuck your oysters for the roasted oysters which was fun even though it was messy You can also order other items on the ‘roast’ special. Will definitely return. Yum!

Absolutely amazing food! We got Dirty Dons Fish Fry, Shrimp tacos and Greg’s Fish Sandwich. The fish was flaky, the breading crunchy and absolutely delicious. The oysters were super fresh and juicy and the street corn was incredible. We got our food really quickly and our server was really nice!

Just a tourist who loves oysters! This is my second time at Dirty Don’s and per usual they didn’t disappoint. The server is the best ever she’s so fun to talk to but I unfortunately don’t remeber her name. My husband got the fish tacos that were absolutely delicious! I got the oysters and it was the perfect meal before our day on the beach! Thanks for an amazing meal!

Oysters are Amazing! We had both 1/2 shell & fried. Gave them 4 stars because the calamari was either over cooked or had been sitting. They did take it off the bill but for 5 stars you don’t even send it out of the kitchen that way.
Bartenders and servers were very friendly. It wasn’t super busy both days I went. The beer is cold!

The map showed this place when we were looking for raw oysters for lunch. We were having problems finding the sign for the car park when following the instructions from the map. Got 12 oysters and spare ribs, both were yummy. The waitress was very professional, the service was fast. I’ll definitely come back again.

The service was horrible in the beginning but recovered towards the end. We had a male waiter who seemed like he could care less, but as mentioned definitely recovered towards the end. Food was good. My daughter ordered the tuna stuffed avocados….. Her friend ordered a burger… My wife ordered the pulled pork nachos and I ordered the fish sandwich. Food was very good. Originally we went to the one on the boardwalk but it was small cramped and they had a person in there playing guitar and singing with an amplifier. Couldn’t even hear yourself so we left and went to this location. Next time I think we will try the one in market common.

We decided to eat out pretty late and rushed to try this place 40 mins till closing. They got us seated as quickly as possible and after we placed our order, our food was out 30-35 mins later. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious and so were the ribs. I ordered the seafood boil in Cajun seasoning. The cook time on that could be better. The shrimp, clams, and crawfish were over cooked. As far as the flavor and crab legs, they were delicious. Due to the time, I didn’t bother to bring it to their attention and just ate the meal. I can say they were nice enough to continue seating people up until 9:55 PM. Not many would do that. I wish I could give them a 5 star rating but due to the food issue, 4 is more acceptable. I would give them another try earlier in the day. Especially for that lobster Mac and cheese!

It is the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. How is it possible that they offer a menu when they don’t put any love into the food? I do not recommend this place. Don’t waste your money and your time there. I left the entire food, it had no flavor.
The place is perfect, it’s facing the sea, but a place like that with such bad service shouldn’t be there.
