I have not yet gone in to eat at the restaurant, I have had Door Dash delivered twice now and I just want to say how absolutely fantastic DiRito’s Italian restaurant’s food is! I mean wow! First time we ordered their pizza which will now be our go-to from here on out. The crust was perfect, the toppings were FRESH….it was by far miles better than Pizza Madness (which was my favorite until the Pandemic)!
Tonight we ordered and had Door Dash deliver. Our food was hot and looked and smelled DELICIOUS! Happy to report it tasted just as good! My husband had the Super Slopper and I had fried raviolis. The raviolis were hot and crispy though I do feel the marinara is a tad blah, I took some of the “slop” from my husbands slopper and paired it with the ravioli and BINGO WE HAVE A WINNER! Everything was SO DELICIOUS!
So nice to have discovered this place! I HIGHLY recommend!
P.S.the cannoli is perfection!!
P.S. again this pictures I posted do not do this food justice. We also started eating before I remembered to take pictures. Keep in mind this food was delivered so harder to judge the appearance but it tastes so good I didn’t care what it looked like!

Everything about the meal was great, appetizers were great, wine was great, the service was exceptional.
I would not recommend the lasagne.
Frozen and microwaved for $20,
you’d be better off going to the grocery store and getting Stouffer’s from the freezer for one tenth the price.

While visiting Cañon City, we are trying restaurants that are on my brother’s favorites list. Today it was DiRitos Italian food. The special was lasagna and I love lasagna, so guess what? Yup. I had lasagna. It. Was. Great! Our service was fast, polite, thorough and pleasant. Others in my party had a calzone, which they loved. Highly recommended.

I would probably not dine here again. We were skipped over and forgotten about on the “to be seated seated list”. Once we were finally seated, our server took 25- 30 minutes to come to our table to order our drinks. Then took another 25 minutes to return with those drinks and finally take our dinner order. The place was not busy at all, but we could see our server visiting with co-workers while we waited. We ordered as an appetizer, their stuffed mushrooms, which was one of their specials, we ended up paying full price on them. She also brought out some marble sized and slightly larger than a marble size mushrooms (4 of them) and said the cooks will be sending out more. The more ended up being 3 of the same size! I had the surf and turf which come with a steak that was very tough and not made to my preference of medium rare. My wife had a Hawaiian pizza that was average at best. Server did not refill or was not really of any presence during I dining. When asked if could get our drinks refilled to go, she brought us empty cups to pour our already drank drinks in. When I asked her to please fill the cups she lazily stated they were out of tea. Will not return, not the rave locals rave about. You have been warned. Was a disappointment not only the service but our taste buds!

90/100: After visiting Royal Gorge Canyon, we stopped by this restaurant and had an enjoyable experience. This family owned business is a great place for families and friends, with ample space, a peaceful atmosphere, and excellent service.
Their Italian food is amazing! The flavors were superb, and the dishes didn’t make us feel too full or thirsty. We ordered pasta dishes, but they also have pizza and other special dishes available. I ordered the bacon and brocolli pasta which was one of the best pasta I’ve ever tasted. The pasta was cooked to perfection and had the perfect amount of seasoning. My family ordered chicken fettucini and meatballs (really tasty).
The prices were reasonable, and you get great value for your money. We will definitely visit again if nearby Canyon City. Great job, Di Rito’s!!

The last two times we have gone here they have been out of the specials they have. The food is good and service is good but for an Italian restaurant they don’t know how much of the most popular things to make. Plus they don’t sever Ravioli either. Just on one day!!
