Dion’s is a must try when in Albuquerque. The pizza slices were huge! The pizza came out fresh and the sauce to topping ratio cannot be beat. The pricing was also very reasonable for a slice! I’m very sad that when I return to Texas that they do not have a Dion’s. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be back when I visit Albuquerque next time!

They burned my cheese toast. The food never tastes fresh anymore. The lettuce they use is super bleached and their bread always tastes stale. I don’t recommend this location

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but today’s experience at the Dion’s on Universe was disappointing. Our order was wrong, and the items we specifically asked for extra ranch and extra croutons were missing. I also specifically requested Greek dressing for my sandwich and was given ranch instead. On top of that, the food had hair in it, which is unacceptable for basic food safety and quality. We’ve been longtime Dion’s customers, so this was frustrating, especially because the order was for my mom. I hope management takes this seriously and improves attention to detail and cleanliness. We usually enjoy Dion’s, but today really missed the mark.

My husband and I ordered a large pizza and a full salad went through the drive up asked for paper plates we got two one napkin and one fork between the two of us so we get home start to eat the pizza it wasn’t very good to realize it had no sauce at all so my husband had to drive all the way back to get a refund. Definitely will not be returning.

Great food but you should consider throwing away your bad crackers, or take it up with your distributor. Serving them to your customers gives you a bad look. Giving extra crackers when all of them are crushed and open doesn’t make up for the fact that all the crackers you serve are bad. Other than that, great. Fortunately, I keep club crackers around. You would have gotten 5 stars if it weren’t for the crackers.

Update I came into town and had to get some Dion’s. But I wanted to update my review because we got the best service possible while we stopped in to pick up our food. Diego was not only friendly and outgoing. We walked in 5 minutes before closing and he was ready to take our order with a smile. We had called something in earlier so we wouldn’t keep them late. They close at 10pm but the fact that he didn’t make us feel like it would be a huge inconvenience trying to place a food order 5 minutes before they close. I feel bad for food workers because people will go in right before closing and it’s just not nice because it keeps the workers so much later to clean up every they have already cleaned. I just want to say thank you Diego for being a good human. Thank you Dion’s for hiring and training good people.
Dion’s is always a must when you go to Albuquerque. Some of the best pizza you will ever eat if you like pizza with ranch. They have some secret recipe or something that makes it amazing. If you are in Albuquerque you better get Dion’s. The meatball sub is fantastic and the pizza is just in another level it’s not crispy like Dave portnoy likes but it’s so damn good.

I ordered a sub to take to my 12hr graveyard shift thats started at 6pm. Didn’t realize until midnight the sandwich was made incorrectly. I ordered a turkey sandwich but swapped out the Swiss for cheddar and no tomatoes and added bacon and jalapeño. Before I went to bite into the sandwich I noticed the tomatoes so I removed them no problem. Then I realized they gave me ham I am not a fan of ham or else I would have eaten it. I was soo hungry so at midnight after I had taken my break already I had to order doordash from cheba hut to get something to eat. Not only did I have to wait longer to eat the poor driver was getting lost at my job and I paid 30 dollars to get food delivered. Then when I got off at 7am I couldnt go take the sandwich back to Dions for a refund because they open at 10am I had to sleep for work then wake up and get kids. I had to call and they said I had to go down there to get the refund. I dont have time for these things I eat at this location all the time but im always disappointed in some way im going to start getting food from work elsewhere, I would rather cook at home but working 3 jobs give me no option but to eat fast food. Whenever I get pizza they barely put toppings on the pizza that we pay extra for and its always all over the place like more pepperoni to one side and like 5 jalapeños on the whole pizza. I like my pizza a little crispy and well done and sometimes they won’t cook it longer when I reques online for them to do so. My salads have been messed up and the subs I get and pay extra for toppings hardly ever have any toppings on them. If I had went to Firehouse subs like I had originally planned this whole situation would have been avoided. Lesson learned…

Now I want to preface this i dont want a refund or anything, but I want to let the managers know the pizzas that are coming out at night are very undercooked I’ve come several times at night and had gone home with a pizza that is still mostly dough. the texture of the crust under the pizza is the same texture of chewy taffy and it tastes like raw dough. Its happened to about 4 of my pizzas at this location and I usually pickup after 6

Service was okay overall, but the employee Jordan had an unnecessary attitude that made the interaction less pleasant than it needed to be. Not terrible, just could have been handled more professionally. Food is always good.

Came for dinner on their first day open and had a great experience! Emma was friendly and efficient at the counter, and the dining room attendant Nick was friendly and helpful, wiping the tables AND seats and pre-bussing… Great customer service! The pizza was great, and I was surprised and impressed that this location has plugs at almost every table.
