OK, so I always say, I rarely give a five star review. This little pizzeria deserves more than five stars! It’s the only place I found in the whole state of Maine that makes real Italian pizza. Pizza like you get in Napoli. That extra thin crust, homemade sauce, and hand slice toppings that or just the right amount. This is not Americanized pizza. This is the real deal ! Make sure you call ahead for takeout. It’s usually about an hour. Wait because each pizza is made individually and with love. There is no conveyor belt type thing here nothing is fast food pizza it’s as if your Nonna was in the kitchen, making it herself ! Their pizza will have you saying “Non avrei mai pensato che un piatto così semplice potesse risultare così saporito!” A hidden gem in northern Maine

Easily the best quality pizza in the County! Do yourself a favor and make this place a regular part of your dining experiences in the ‘Bou!
The owner comes from Little Italy in Cleveland Ohio, and uses traditional, authentic Italian methods to make outstanding pizza. Help support this great business and order something soon!

I have been ordering pizza for forty years, from dozens of restaurants all over the country. This place has the best pizza I have ever had. It’s gourmet pizza, at a reasonable price. SO freaking good! Service is good, and the restaurant is cozy, with really neat Italian heritage decor. (And a big TV showing beautiful scenic videos of Italy). The owner is Italian…..and it shows. Highly recommend!

Great people working hard here. The pizza is high quality with fresh dough and quality cheese and pepperoni. It is a thin NY style crust, that they do well. There is not one bad thing I can say about this place.

Pizza is better than anything else we have up in the County but the entire reason I liked Dioddo’s was that they have good cannoli’s, which I haven’t been able to find since coming to Maine. Except they haven’t had them available at dinnertime or on the weekends in 2 months. Literally every time we call they have none. Shouldn’t put something on the menu if you can’t have them regularly or plan to have them by the actual busy time for dinner.

We ordered a margherita pizza
I was disappointed it was not an actual margherita with tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella.
Their unique take on it was not unpleasant. I especially liked the crust. Looks to be more of a to go spot.
Still…
Tasty and not over priced.

Absolutely delicious pizza when I walked in to the building (old Reno’s) my expectations kinda went down. But then I smelt it. The aroma of the real cheese. I got home and was able to taste my first bite of dioddos pizza and oh my! This is the ONLY pizza in the county that is worth buying. If you’re into cardboard sloppy pizza u can stick to everywhere else but as for REAL Pizza this is the place. Crust was 100% fully cooked nice and thin and crunchy the cheese was not overpowering and tasted like real pizza cheese not the cheap motzerella Provolone mix everywhere else uses the amount of sauce was perfect not too much but enough and had an amazing flavor. The only thing I can compare this pizza to would be Regina pizza in Boston. Also the perfect amount of grease I like to see on a pizza all I got to say is this place is 20/10 and from now on will be the only place I order from DELICIOUS

Very good pizza.
The crust is fermented and tastes awesome and the sauce is very good to.
They are just getting started working on putting in a new better oven.
They are a great addition to the town and worth supporting

This business has closed 🙁 I miss my pizza.
I’ve found it. The pinnacle of pizza perfection. It’s nestled right here in Caribou, Maine!! A beacon of flavor and joy. This place isn’t just a pizzeria; it’s a sanctuary for those who appreciate the artistry of a well-crafted pie!!
Let’s start with the crust. Oh, that crust. It’s not just dough; it’s a symphony of texture and taste that dances on your palate with every bite. Thin, yet sturdy enough to hold the weight of the toppings, it’s a testament to the skill and dedication of the artisans behind the oven. There’s nothing like it around!!
And the sauce? It’s a revelation. No mere concoction of tomato paste and sugar here. Oh no, this is the real deal—fresh tomato sauce bursting with the vibrant essence of ripe tomatoes. It’s like they plucked the tomatoes straight from the vine and turned them into liquid gold.
But wait, there’s more. Holy Cannoli, have you tried their cannolis? They’re a sweet, creamy delight that will transport you straight to dessert heaven. Crisp shells filled with decadent ricotta cream, it’s the perfect way to end a meal—or heck, to start one if you’re feeling adventurous.
Third Friday in a row… next Friday will be my 4th!! My favorite pizza!!!
