So excited we got in on opening day! Grew up in Rochester and live in Buffalo now, so we had been waiting months for this location open! Food, service, and atmosphere were great! Added plus of this being in the suburbs is the parking lot. Decor was really cool and seating options were nice – they even have a fireplace inside. Can’t wait to see this place in the summer when they have the doors open! Staff were all super friendly, including our waitress Angela B. Food was excellent, you would never have known it was opening day!! We will definitely be back often!

We were so delighted when Dinosaur opened in the Southtowns! We used to make major detours to go by the branch in Rochester and loved it when a branch opened in downtown Buffalo, so we’re glad when they left there, they came south. Food is incredibly delicious. My husband had his usual full rack of ribs and I went with Tres Ninos, a sampler of ribs, pulled pork and brisket. We both left stuffed and happy, especially after two great sides each and cornbread as well, and, of course, with a full rack even my Santa-like husband had leftovers. The new venue is beautiful. The servers were not only efficient but so pleasant. We had a lovely chat with the hostess as well. We’ll certainly be returning and would recommend it without (pardon the pun) reservations.

My wife and I visited this location on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar due to the wait time. It gets very busy throughout the day, so plan your mealtime accordingly.

Our bartender was Michelle, and she was very hard working and very friendly.

To start, my wife had a “Middle Ages Dinosaur Ape Hanger” draft beer and I had a “Dino Marg” both drinks were very exceptional.

I ordered half rack of ribs served with corn bread and two sides (BBQ beans with pork and Mac & Cheese).

The ribs were “melt in your mouth” delicious. I tried the original BBQ sauce, Garlic Chipotle, and Wango Habanero sauce with the ribs. To me, the ribs go better with the the original BBQ sauce, and the Garlic Chipotle and Wango Habanero go better with Buffalo wings.

The BBQ beans with pork had a nice onion spice to them too help blend with the ribs.

The Mac & Cheese was baked and it was delicious. To me, this is a perfect side to BBQ.

My wife had 6 Buffalo Wings with half Wango Habanero sauce and half Red Chili Sour Cherry. She liked both equally.

My wife also had the Creole Deviled Eggs. She told me that she enjoyed these deviled eggs more than the ones my mom makes. LOL.

For an after dinner drink I had the Blackberry Whiskey Sour and my wife had the Frosted Cranberry. Both drinks were very well made and very delicious.

We ordered dessert to go. I ordered Key Lime Pie and my wife ordered Peanut Butter Cup Pie.

The restaurant itself gets extremely busy, so parking is at times a little difficult to get a spot close to the restaurant. But it’s perfect for all group sizes, dates, and family get togethers.

We enjoyed our time and we will definitely visit again.

This was my first time here and I will def be back. The food was delicious, the drink was incredible, and our waitress (I think her name was Miranda) was awesome!! There was little wait time to get seated and receive our food. 10/10!!

Been here a few times now and every time the food is consistently delicious, great service, and clean atmosphere. Wait a bit for a table but not much more than a half hour. Mac and cheese has a little bit of a spice to it (forewarning in case for kids). Meat is all smoked to perfection – ribs were very tender and delicious. Look forward to returning back again!

This place is great ! It carries the gravel and grit feel of the flagship location in Syracuse NY mixed with new construction and more family size 8+ availability in a bit brighter space. The food will knock your socks off, King Midas himself trained the kitchen staff ! Bravo. The front of the house offers amazing service. No sooner was I thinking that I wanted to ask our waitstaff a question and she appeared, like she was reading my mind, that’s called knowing your customers and anticipating needs and wants, fancy places call it concierge level treatment. I’ve said this for another place and I’ll say it ONCE again, unless you’re changing your baby, drop what you’re doing and come eat. Even if you’re not hungry, you will be once you read the menu and smell the freebees in the air. Thanks for reading. Enjoy.

Really enjoyed this place. I’m glad they decided to come back to the Buffalo area. I hope that the restaurant stays as good as it was today and doesn’t change the recipes or cut their portion sizes smaller

1st time visiting new location..Celebrated Our Wedding Anniversary. Ribs were “ok” not fall off the bone not alot of meat .Pull Pork was good little dry but eatable .Sides pretty big portions..French fries were very hot and very good the rice was good ..The Mac and cheese is NOT plain had a little kick to it.Should say that on the menu ..The tables are not smooth so the cups are little wobbly

Food and service were excellent. Food came out extremely fast. Was hot and very well cooked. Only downside is that BBQ meat came out with a sweet bbq sauce on it (which personally I was not fond of). Might be a good idea for wait staff to give diners a choice of no sauce so they can choose from the choices available at the table.

We went to the one in Buffalo years ago. We decided to try the new location. The place where we were seated was extremely crowded! There were tables on the left and right by garage doors. Waitresses could barely get through! No room to feel comfortable! A customer said as we walked past she was hit 3 times already by wait staff. We ordered the family dinner, which came with a bunch of sides and we had no room on the table to accommodate this meal! It was less than a pleasing experience! The food was not great by any means and the cost of the bill was absurd for the quality of food received! All the food was over seasoned! The ribs had barely any meat on them and they were out of a meat upon our arrival. The only good thing about our visit was our waitress that was amazing!
