Got the quesotaco w/consome for 5.15 (w/tax). Consome was very salty. The taco was good. Doesn’t come with lime, but I think you might have to ask for it, not sure. Would come back again and try something else.

We decided to try this place today we ordered the carne asada fries and the birria ramen, the carne asada fries were good but I think the meat was a bit old, were there around 6:30pm and their grill was turned off for the rest of the night. The birria ramen was a no unfortunately, the birria tasted old as well and it was very greasy and lacked flavor. Maybe we just can’t at the wing time. The dining area looked nice and clean and the lady that served us was nice and friendly.

Best authentic Mexican food I have EVER had in Arizona! I have been living in Arizona for 24 years and I have tried a lot of Mexican restaurants and I could never find any that taste like Mexican food. I was surprised to finally find one that actually does taste like real Mexican food. The carne asada and chicken are cooked on a charcoal grill, the toppings are freshly cut and the horchata here is freaking amazing! They make the horchata from scratch, they don’t use those powdered horchata packages like other places do. The Tortilla here taste amazing and especially the soup. Most important thing that I admire is that everything here is kept very clean including the grill, the counter, tables, floors and bathroom. Food is not cross contaminating each other either. The owner Lio definitely cares about the quality of his food and satisfying his customers by not disappointing them . I had 3 sample tacos and I was full. That’s how you know the food is good. I’m defiantly returning here again every time I need real Mexican food.

The restaurant was clean, no music, it was very quiet inside. The server spoke no English, only Spanish and had no idea what souvlaki was or how to say it. Since it became quickly obvious that she wasn’t Greek, we ordered from the Mexican food menu. Carne asada plate with a patty melt. The food was very disappointing but we needed to get to the hospital so we just ate it. The “carne asada” has no flavor and was very grisly and had no flavor, more like ground beef. The refried beans were so dry that they fell apart. The patty melt was mostly bread. We won’t be back, the best thing we could say, was the place was clean.

The restaurant was clean, Employees friendly, made our Chicken Bowl and Burrito exactly how we asked. She advised that the Medium Salsa was on the spicy side, which I was thankful for, she put mine on the side!
Everything was great

After a long day of business building, strategic planning and presenting business plans my coworker and I were hungry for delicious burritos. (Is there ever a bad time for burritos?) Right across the street from our office is Carne Asada, a fairly new spot in our hood.
We walked in a at 8:30pm (9pm close) and were welcomed with a friendly hello from the young woman behind the counter. On approach she asked us if we’d been there before. She showed us the quality meat selection and Being that we were in Carne Asada we chose just that. She offered all types of fresh ingredients and arranged it perfectly on our tortilla to make a perfectly rolled, tight burrito. The meat, the beans and the tortilla were delicious and fresh. The salsa could have been spicier but I also like it very hot.
When we were done were were completely satisfied and chatted with the manager who explained that it was a family business ad that they all shared responsibility in the restaurant. It’s a great place. It’s fast, good price ($7 for a huge burrito) and friendly staff.

Found this place looking for carne asada fries that wasn’t Filiberto, had good reviews and was close by. Super dark location, you can’t even tell they’re in the corner or that it’s a restaurant until you’re parked in front. But the lady was nice and the food legit. I got the fries and a fish taco. Also cute hispanic guys coming in? But I’m sad because I heard her mention that they’re closing this Sunday.

Today, I ordered the fish and steak street tacos during lunch. My overall experience had been satisfactory as the staff here offered meal suggestions. To add, the quality of food is impeccable. Hence, I’ll be revisiting in the near future. This being mentioned, I highly recommend Carne Asada!
