We visited here from Texas, just googled a random place and it popped up. HIGHLY recommend! The food was amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The Haystack was great!! Service was great as well. Definitely gives country home vibes. Very comforting all around. 10/10.

If I could give this place zero stars then I would. We are visiting from out of state and decided to stop by and get breakfast here. Both my son and I ordered a veggie omelette, since we are both vegetarian. However, we were both served meat omelets. Unfortunately we were not aware this was meat inside of it until we’ve already took a few bites. I opened up both omelets and it’s not like one or even two pieces of meat fell inside. No, it was LOADED on the inside with meat. I brought this to the attention to the people who worked there only to be told it’s fine. It’s just meat. That’s when I explained how both my son and I are vegetarian and I made that clear when we ordered the veggie omelette. We were brushed off and yet we still had to pay for our meal. I do NOT recommend at all!!!! The ONLY positive is that their sweet tea is AMAZING! Otherwise, never again!

I just had the Chicken fried steak with eggs and hash browns. It’s very quite here but nicely decorated with old signs and photos of older hot rods. Very good food for a good price! I’ll be back!

When ordering a veggie omelette and stating two people are vegetarian, one would assume that you’ll get exactly that…veggie only. However, that wasn’t the case. There were 3 omelettes ordered all together with our meal. One had ham, the other two were veggie only. When the food came out, one had tons of ham, the second omelette had both bacon and sausage. (Those were both supposed to be the veggie omelettes). The last omelette was made as ordered. A few bites were taken of each before discovering the meat inside. So it was brought to the kitchen staff attention. Hoping for either a remake of what was ordered or at least a refund over the two incorrect omelettes, neither happened. However we did get a free drink. We went there for food and two people didn’t even get to eat their meal since it had ingredients that neither would eat. In another review it was stated how the bill ended up being only $33 which was NOT the case. The military discount wasn’t an option either. Which is fine. No one was upset, we paid and we left. The point of the review is to bring attention to others when they order something veggie to double check and make sure there isn’t any meat. Also for anyone with allergies, to double check as well. I do not recommend the diner.

Great place, if you haven’t tried it you need to, the food is great, the cook is the owner and she cares about the quality of food!! The dinky burger is far from dinky, was a huge homecooked burger!! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!
