BBQ perfection! Tender, juicy meats! The flavors were all amazing! The service was fantastic! The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the amount of food we got! We waited way to long to try this place out but we’ll be back soon!

I’ll start with the good. Our waitress was very friendly, and so was the staff. Also, my side salad was the best part of my meal. They have very good ranch.

But that’s about where the good ends.

I’m not trying to be rude, but their BBQ sauce is just nasty. It doesn’t taste like BBQ sauce at all. It tastes like tomato and vinegar. To me, if you’re going to be a BBQ restaurant then you have to have a good sauce to go along with great meat.

I ordered the 2 meat combo with chopped brisket and bologna. The chopped brisket was okay. But the bologna was so thin, and you can tell it hadn’t been smoked. It wasn’t gross, but it was like I was eating store bought Oscar Meyer bologna. Just highly disappointing.

My sides were baked beans and potato salad. I baked beans were ruined because I think they smother them in their BBQ sauce. Potato salad was not great.

The other ppl at our table also agreed that none of the meat seemed to be smoked. My wife ordered chicken that had a hint of smoky flavor, but I have a feeling they just used liquid smoke.

If you haven’t been here before, I would not recommend it.

Not the worst BBQ, but definitely not the best. Very little flavor on sliced brisket and a bit overcooked. Service was good, one waitress long black hair, was a bit upset at another table, and shouted out a bad word.

I eat BBQ often and Dinks BBQ is probably one of my top 3 places for BBQ. Everything I ate was extremely good!! From the meats to the sides to appetizers to the service. Everything was top notch. Highly recommend to eat here, you won’t be disappointed.

The food was really good! Prices aren’t terrible, but they’ve definitely been creeping up lately. It’s tough to find a place that does okra right, but theirs was spot-on—crispy, flavorful, and just perfect. The meat was mostly lean with just enough fat to give it that extra delicious flavor without being greasy. Our waitress was super pleasant and friendly. It was pretty busy when we went, so it took a bit longer to get everything for our whole party, but that’s totally expected at a popular spot like this. Just like most casual BBQ joints, it gets loud fast once the crowd rolls in, so it was hard to have a real conversation without raising our voices. Still, totally worth it for the great BBQ and that classic Oklahoma vibe!
Would go back in a heartbeat—especially for more of that fried okra and smoky meat. If you’re in Bartlesville, it’s a must-try!

ALERT: TOP TEN ENTRY FOR APPETIZERS NATIONWIDE. To judge from the turnout around 1 PM on a Sunday, our 13th ‘cue stop in Oklahoma is very, very popular. We purchased a half order of onion strings, a mild sausage plate with coleslaw and pinto beans, a sampler platter (brisket, sausage, ribs, with sides of okra and curly fries), and a Shiner Bock. The onion strings are sensational– a top ten appetizer nationwide. The ribs were the best of the lightly smoked meats, with a light rub that accented the flavor of the meat, which separated cleanly at the bite. The sausage and brisket came sauced (try ordering it dry if you wish), and like the pulled pork were bland enough to benefit from saucing. Three of the four sides proved unremarkable, but the coleslaw is a winner– a cold, palate cleansing bite that’s ideal when moving among different meats on a plate or platter. In sum, you can’t go wrong here with the onion strings, ribs, and coleslaw.

We stopped here after reading reviews that mention how good everything was. The reviews are astoundingly wrong!! We got the sample platter to try a little of everything. The Brisket resembled a piece of beef jerky, was way over cooked and dry with little flavor. The ribs were tough, no where near “fall off the bone” as others describe, in fact they had to be quite forcefully pulled off. The pulled pork was also dry and lacked any flavor. The sausage was ok. All the meat was accompanied with bbq sauce that had one of the weirdest tastes Ive ever had, both hot and regular had this strange taste. The curly fries dipped in ranch were the best thing we had. Its very rare that Ive come across a place with these kind of reviews and it be this opposite, I can only hope its a fluke. The service and staff were good.

My co-worker recommended us this barbecue place while we worked in town. I am always down for a barbecue place so we accepted his advise.
Right away as we pulled up we could see this would be a good experience. A full parking lot says a lot!
We were welcomed with a smile and promptly seated and offered drinks. I asked for a root beer. I also ordered the brisket plate; I love brisket.
As I waited for the food, I went to check out the rest of the restaurant and the bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean no doubt.

The moment of truth! The brisket arrived! My plate looked awesome! The barbecue sauce was amazing! I really enjoyed everything in my order.

I would come back to this place in a heart beat!

Here are some observations:

*The bathrooms were absolutely clean but they felt a bit drafty and dark. They could use an upgrade.

*The brisket was slightly dry. No big deal. The fries were a bit mushy for my taste.

WOW! Came to Dink’s for the first time.. it was YUMMY! We got the onion strings to start off, they were thin and crispy. The bologna and chopped brisket both had great flavor. The fried okra was crisps. Id recommend giving this place a shot!

Not gonna lie, I was surprised how good this was, I’ve been to several places that look like this from the outside only to be highly disappointed once I receive my meal. The sides were excellent, I’ve never had a coleslaw like this one and it was excellent, the onion rings were hot and crispy too! The bologna was cooked well and the brisket was delicious. The bbq sauce looked a bit sketchy but wow it was ever incredible. Highly recommend this place for a good bbq meal.
