Reviews
The food left a bit to be desired. I will say that the fried green tomatoes w/ remoulade sauce and the stuffed mushrooms were absolutely fantastic! However, the Tuscan Mac and cheese had an overwhelming amount of thyme. I enjoy thyme but it was just too much. The Margherita pizza crust was not crisp in the least but rather soft and soggy.
We also experienced some menu confusion as the reviews show items including scallops and steak but neither of those items were on the rather small menu that we received. The online menu also varies from the actual restaurant menu so that too is confusing.
Overall, the appetizers were worth trying and I may return at some point and try different menu items but based off of first experience it is not a place that I would frequently return to.
Tight little dining space with no music or sound control, so be comfortable with everyone hearing your conversation 🙂
Cute decor…stopped just a bit short of knocking it out of the park. A few more investments in furniture, artwork, and ambiance will set this place apart.
Menu was impressive for a small town like Fergus Falls…imaginative for the area. Solid cocktail, beer, and wine list as well (I’m definitely going to come back to the bar for drinks soon).
Service was a little slow, but friendly. Food was fresh and tastey. Nothing that blew me away, but I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
If you’re in FF and looking for something a bit different than the majority of local pizza or American fair…this would be a good choice.
The sidecar was interesting. Something was off. Different than minneapolis/st. paul sidecars. Wasn’t bad only an unanticipated flavor profile. Also very orange in color.
Deserves a second chance, another menu item.
