Classic place to get American brunch in downtown Alhambra. Food is good, and not too expensive. Service is good but could be a little lagging on weekend’s brunch hour. They have different menu for lunch and dinner. There’s a small bar to the right section and happy hour is from 3:30 to 6:30pm on week days. Ample parking space but each spots are a little tight for bigger SUVs or minivans.
Update: been coming here many times since before COVID and glad to see this place is going strong now that businesses are opened again. Food is still good and the service can be still a little slow for weekend brunch.

Food was great, better than the franchise ones. Friendly staff and good service. Wait was about 10 minutes which wasn’t too bad. Parking lot was near full but managed to find a spot.

Food was ok. I had small side salad and steak sandwich. The steak sandwich did not have any flavor. I enjoyed the salad, the croutons were soft – that was good. Server took long to check up on my friend and I and did not offer us straws for our drinks… My friend ordered the fish & chips, When he picked up one of the fried fish, something started dripping from the bottom, it wasn’t oil. I don’t know what it was….

Good food, big portion. Convenient location with plenty of parking spaces behind the restaurant Took almost 5 minutes to be acknowledged or seated. I would probably give a 2 stars for customer service – perhaps they were understaffed.

We love this restaurant and have been coming for many years. The fried rice tastes exactly like my Hawaiian grandmother’s and it makes me so happy. I hope the new owners keep it on the menu!

Great service, fresh air, and good food. I had an omelet with avocado, tomato and cheese. I had the option of fruit, hash browns, or potatoes. I choose fruit. It came with two slices of toast. Great first meal of the day!!!

Altogether it was nice. The food was great. I didn’t get my extra plate, nor did I receive my side order fruit. However I was FYI’ed that the service is great usually.

There food here is delicious I had the pork chop meal an it was fabulous look at the pics I would come back to eat here again the waitress was great an it was a pleasant experience….for there food they get 5 I know it surprised me but again this was a good place to eat…

So, I hadn’t been to D on M in a while, and today I was wowed! I had their veggie tacos (which I don’t recall seeing on the menu last time I was here) and couldn’t have been happier. The combination of roasted Chiles with corn and sauteed onions was wonderful! This meal reminded me of my abuelita’s cooking in Mexico. Pair yummy food with friendly, efficient service and a big, easy-to-navigate parking lot and, Voila, you got a great place to eat! I really recommend visiting D on M.

Good breakfast and dessert. I had the bowl of clam chowder (Friday only) and it was tasty, could have been thicker but still tasty. For the main I had chicken fried steak mash and veggies. Filling, veggies tasted so fresh!
