Delicious food, fantastic service and a wonderful retro atmosphere. When we saw police cars parked in the lot we knew, if the local police were coming here for food it was going to be good!

This is an awesome place to take the family and enjoy the meal. The pancakes are great, the best I’ve ever had!! We had a party of 11 people, they handled it great, I’d give them more stars if I could

Other restaurants: pay attention. This is how you serve a big salad: in a bowl that is sufficiently big enough to toss the ingredients without making a mess.
The place is bright and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. This place feels like home as evidenced by all the locals here.
The cobb salad was delicious with lots of fresh ingredients (I skipped the blue cheese and the dressing).
The sausage gravy on the biscuits biscuits was peppery but not overwhelming, while the biscuits were somehow both dense and fluffy which I enjoyed.

Not only do I love the food, but I adore the owner Jim, who has a heart big enough to fill the entire building. The wait staff is personable, and the food comes quickly and hot. This small restaurant is a powerhouse within the community. I almost could not stop eating Long enough to take a picture of this fantastic breakfast! Thank you, Jim!

Despite being minutes away from downtown, this place really has the perfect small town diner vibes! I ordered the New Englander Breakfast and the French Toast. The corned beef hash was hot and delicious, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and bacon that came with the French Toast was just the right texture. The French Toast was soft and flavorful, and the white bread that came with my meal with buttered and a delicious complement to the rest of the breakfast. I would definitely recommend coming here for a breakfast with family or friends!

This cute diner is everything you think it should be and then some! I sat at the bar, had a wonderful time chatting with the staff, the coffee was unexpectedly VERY good, and the food was delicious. It’s been years since I was here, and now that I have a rediscovered it I will be back much sooner.

This is one of the best restaurants I been to, I became familiar with this restaurant 30 years ago, when I worked in law enforcement. The food continuously very good. I used to order the traditional breakfast, which consists of half grits and the other half potatoes, along with bacon eggs . I like the diner atmosphere, and I suggest that former mayor Dennis Kucinich to give this diner a try

When one is in the mood for a low-priced, delicious meal with a heavy dose of nostalgia and a longing for simpler times, this is the place to visit. Staff is friendly with a no nonsense approach to service. You can chat with any of the patrons and within two minutes, get a sense that you’ve known them for a long time. There should be a breakfast joint like this diner in every neighborhood. Too bad that’s not the case.

Family owned and very friendly service. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. We will be back to eat every time we are in town. Love the “old diner” feel and how every regular customer that entered was greeted with a huge Hello and Good Morning!

Great lunch experience. Complimentary Black eyed peas soup was awesome. The burger I had was a very well cooked and all the fixings were great. The fries even had some season salt on it. They had extra flavor. Worth the trip.
