Food was flavorful and well done. Fresh ingredients, good consistencies, and balanced flavors and original. Limited vegetarian options. Cozy interior, but the concept seemed like…trying too hard to be different and hip…? Why do you make your waiters write down the menu on the table for each group of guests? Doesnt even save paper since those menus are not reused. And honestly, our waiter’s handwriting was sometimes hard to read.
Also, quite pricey. The crab pasta was $35, the celery root was also $35 (like what?!), the squash was $23, and the Caesar salad (not pictured) was $22.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable on the food but slow.

I came to this restaurant by chance I was just looking for a restroom. When I walked in, I said I would order something and asked if I could use the restroom first. The staff were very kind and told me that I didn’t need to order anything and that I could go ahead and use it.
I was very impressed. After using the restroom, I ordered a burger and a beer. I definitely hope to come back again

Such a cute and quaint place! I felt like I was hanging out with friends, enjoying a meal. “Our person” for the night was Julia, and she was incredible.

Loved Diner! The old school diner setting is so cool – down to the miniature bathroom and the slanted ceiling. Cocktails were on point, food was delicious, and service friendly. Def recommend!

Great restaurant with a good drinks selection and great food. Especially nice for people who appreciate a good kitchen and special tastes. The food was very fresh and original, there were pescetarian, vegetarian and gluten free options (although less options for vegetarians). There were quite some fish options and some meat options – nothing really for vegans. I am coeliac and I told them about it – the waiter was very knowledgeable and clear about what had gluten (and even where there was cross contamination from the fryer and white soy sauce they use in some dishes). They don’t have any gf bread but I had a great experience and ate very well. They had a flourless cake which was awesome and I could eat for deser to highty, highly reccomend overall! It is on the pricier side but defo recoomend and worth it!! Definitely get a reservation.

This place is amazing. I’d totally recommend it. We didn’t try the classics, but the swordfish and asparagus were delicious. I really appreciated that the server wrote down the menu for us; it made it easier to follow the dishes and really enjoy the experience. The wine was excellent as well.

Came for dinner. Food was very good. One of the best Caesar salads. Burger was great and fries were cooked perfectly.

They come and tell you the menu and write it down, which was fun. Our server was great.

We also got the apple dessert which was very good.

We asked for a food menu and the poor waiter had to write the whole thing directly onto the table with a Sharpie. If you had any questions about the slew of information he recited from memory you had to call him over to repeat himself, and we felt guilty about it because you could tell it must have been like the 20th time he did it that day. The restaurant is called “diner” so we expected the experience to be a least a bit reminiscent of a diner but there’s not even any coffee. Came here on a whim, at least the experience gave us a good laugh. Won’t be back though.

Always a 10/10 meal for us, and our favorite local restaurant. Can’t go wrong with the burger, but they always have amazing seasonal dishes.

Elevated diner experience. And best burger and fries, and Bloody Mary, ever. It’s become a monthly ritual of mine. Great atmosphere for brunch as well as for dinner.
