My daughter and I felt like we had found a diamond in the rough. Crewe is a lovely town with a fascinating railroad history. Time has, as it does, changed the town a bit from its heyday as a railroad town but definitely is a solid place with absolutely delightful people. This diner literally warmed our heart with the welcome we received as we walked in. The food was 100% what we were looking for in a diner breakfast. The pancakes were insanely fluffy! We loved watching the locals come in and smile at us obvious tourists :). Wonderful place. Thank you!

Breakfast service was very, very slow. Food was good (breakfast). Prices are good.
The bathroom was unisex, no lock. Be warned, better yet, go to the toilet elsewhere. (Not joking).
We were there like an hour and a half, and the place was empty. Lots of folks ordered ahead and took out.

I am glad I took a little detour (1 block) off 460 and discovered this gem for a late breakfast this morning. Very welcoming and homey, like a diner should be. ❤️

These folks here are some of nicest people and most humble around. It’s important to understand though that this is a small diner in a small town. This isn’t the place for fast food. But you will get great food and great service! As long as you manage your expectations on time, you I’ll be glad you stopped in!

A friend and I went there for breakfast. The bacon is cooked well done. Crispy is how I like my bacon. Everything on my plate was delicious. The waitress was friendly and served us well.

Nice little place. Our server was very sweet. They were very busy on a Saturday morning. We stopped in while passing through town and we were hoping for a quick bite. Unfortunately it took about 45 minutes to get our food and it was more expensive than I expected. I’d recommend them if you are looking for the diner experience and want a leisurely meal. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be back.

I had the chicken salad sandwich. The bread was lightly toasted. The chicken salad had tiny slivers of red onion and not too much mayo. It was perfect and delicious! My husband had the hot dog. It was split down the middle and seared on the griddle. It was served on a long sandwich roll. He said it tasted great!
Can’t wait to go again.
