What an amazing dining experience from start to finish! We basically tried the entire menu — the ahi tuna & seaweed salad, clams casino, oysters Rockefeller, bang bang shrimp, antipasto, Caesar salad, eggplant rollatini, calamari, Chilean sea bass, stuffed shrimp, surf & turf, risotto, and the best chicken parm my daughter has ever had (her new all-time favorite!). Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared — you can truly taste the love and care that goes into everything they make.
There were seven of us and we still couldn’t finish it all — leftovers for days!
Our waitress, Marcella, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and made us feel like family. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, which made the evening even more special.
And the desserts — wow! The homemade banana cake and pistachio cake were out of this world. They even made my birthday unforgettable with candles that lit up the night and made everyone smile. ✨
This family-owned and family-run restaurant has such heart — you can feel it in the food, the atmosphere, and the people. I didn’t even take enough pictures because we couldn’t wait to dig in — that’s how good everything was!

Tonight we celebrated our 43rd Wedding Anniversary at Dina’s Bistro; everything was just PERFECT!
Shannon was such a pleasant hostess, she made everything enjoyable!
The food was absolutely delicious! Everything from the Homemade warm bread, appetizers, salad, fresh, crunchy & tasty Bang Bang Shrimp, Caesar Salad, Chicken Scarpelli, Pork Chop w/Apple Sausage Stuffing, and dessert!!! Delicious food… and there was so much that we took some home!
Rich knew it was our anniversary, so he had a special table for us and there was a balloon waiting!

Shannon was wonderful.
The food was excellent.
The restaurant itself is very cozy, nicely decorated and a convergence of upscale and casual. It was my first time here with my mother for her 70th. birthday, I was very impressed with the menu and the specials, including the 3-course special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays which I opted out of but I’m glad it exists so I can visit more casually and not always for an occasion or pricey dinner.
Osso Bucco was amazing, seared tuna app, calamari, and mussels were flavorful and what I expected or more. Crab stuffed flounder was a hit with my mother, and the banana cake dessert although I was too full to indulge in its entirety was delicious.
Thank you Shannon and thank you to the management for giving Tom’s River a pleasant option for a nice dinner.

Bang bang calamari, oysters rockefeller, filet mignon, stuffed flounder and crabmeat & shrimp burrata ravioli were ALL delicious! Enjoyed tartufo and chocolate lava cake as well. Will be returning.

Seriously Marci is the absolute BEST server on the PLANET. Just love her to pieces! Came again tonight to celebrate a friends birthday. Some had been there before but for others it was their first time. And they all cannot WAIT to go back.
When I’m on my death bed….bring me Dinas…that is all.

2nd visit and again. Phenomenal. Made reservations for mothers and my birthday. Service is always great food is incredible. Hands down the best meatballs ever!
Just had Easter dinner there with my mom. My aunt had recommended it. Made last-minute reservations and SO happy I did.
The place is small and a little dated, but it’s ij and old plaza, which is fine. Place seemed fairly busy, but the staff were very attentive and nice. Owners seemed nicen but it would have been nice to see them interact with more tables than just one, that seemed to be friends if theirs(also fine, but they only came over to us when they noticed the check sitting on the table with the card to pay).
As for the food. AMAZING. Im BIG on trading reviews before I even consider a place. I read almost every review? And everyone spoke extremely highly of this place but maybe 2 people. I’m convinced those 2 have no clue about how restaurants run or have never been employed by one and were just Karen’s.
Food was EXCELLENT!!! Fresh, seasoned well. Portions were great. Had plenty to take home. Pricing was reasonable(for the person that complained about a salad not being included for the price, seems to have not gone to establishments that are not chain restaurants or go to places where the quality is poor).
I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to everyone. Even considering having a dinner party for my 40th there(they have a private room for events there as well).
It’s also BYOB and whondoesnt love a good BYOB spot!!!

Came here for Valentine’s Day, and Wow. The food was incredible and I have to say I had the best seat in the house. What a great place to have a romantic dinner, with food that really hit the spot.

Had dinner with a large group, they were able to handle, with no difficulty. Some ordered off menu, some daily specials. The bread is phenomenal .I personally had a special and it is a great deal for the cost ($36) app, entree, dessert. It was also cooked perfectly with ample portion,tasted fabulous! Others had assorted entrees with NO complaints only than the chicken Murphy was ‘meh’ and crab cake slightly dry. They are worth a try for anyone contemplating.. I will absolutely be returning to try a few different dishes! They are BYOB and service super attentive and friendly.

Was here for an event and we were served eggplant rollatini and calamari as a starter, and the chicken parm with penne and marinara as the main. Food was delicious! The chicken was so perfectly prepared and the flavors were on point. Owners came to greet us and they genuinely wanted to see you enjoy your meal and the experience. Ask them about events they have, you’ll be surprised at the entertainment they offer on random nights! Can’t wait to dine here again!

Decided to try Dina’s for our anniversary dinner, and it was the best decision we could have made. Our meals were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our server David was kind, personable, and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying the rest of the menu!
