One of my favorites. It’s an iconic place for soup dumplings and also has extensive menu for all the other staples such as rice cakes, noodles, soups, drinks, desserts etc! Came back here for the tik tok hacks. Tried the sesame noodles mixed with spicy wontons and the chocolate mochi dipped in sea salt cream. Honestly you can never go wrong! It’s usually crowded, but today I utilized reservations on Yelp- super helpful and definitely recommend. Service was great, our waiter was courteous and kind. My go to dishes are usually the hot & sour soup, pork chop with fried rice and green beans. If you opt for the dumplings, ask for a side of the chili sauce and dip away. I would drink it if I could. Ambiance is always nice.

I really thought that Din Tai Fung was overrated but I am now a huge fan! The staff is super friendly, at both locations that I went to during this trip. The drinks are great and the food is absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we got the cucumber salad which was crunchy and refreshing. Next up, we got the Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao and the Crab & Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao. Both were made perfectly bite size and delicious. However, I definitely preferred just the Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao. The Sticky Rice Shao Mai with Kurobuta Pork & Mushroom and the Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons are probably two of my favorite dishes. The sticky rice shao mai is small but dense. Filled to the brim and has a great taste. The spicy wontons were actually a favorite of the whole table. Not too spicy but absolutely incredible. For our greens, we tried the Taiwanese cabbage with garlic which is one of my favorite vegetable dishes. I think we also tried the Noodles with Sesame sauce. From what I can remember, that was not bad. Last but not least, you cannot visit Din Tai Fung without ordering the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao. It might seem odd or overrated but it is so worth trying. The “dumpling skin” is a very think mochi and the filling is a warm and gooey chocolate. It can be served with a side of sea salt cream. You have to get that because the combination is unreal. Speaking of the sea salt cream though, you can get an iced black or green tea with a whipped sea salt cream on top. So simple but so good. I have regrets about not taking a drink to go. I highly recommend stopping by any of their locations if you have a chance. Absolutely worth the wait if there is one.
Now for my standard comments. The location is clean and well kept. Comfortable indoor seating. Bathrooms are very clean.

If you love feeling like the food keeps coming and prefer small bites over one large meal, this is for you. I loved everything we ordered so much. The green beans are magically delicious. I dream of them!

Din Tai Fung in LA never disappoints — every meal genuinely surprised me in the best way.
The crab xiao long bao were outstanding, super delicate with rich crab flavor. The string beans with garlic were very, very good (honestly addictive). The fried rice was comforting and well balanced, and the shao mai were solid and satisfying too.
Consistently high quality across the table. Amazing food and an easy place to come back to again and again.

Delicious dumplings and noodles service was ok. We had reservation and they still made us wait. Our waiter was helpful and quick. Drinks were good. Dessert was not good at all, they suggested us to get taro dumplings, mistake.

The food here is so good, the service was excellent. I loved the green beans so so much, I loved the cucumbers as well. I liked the spicy wontons. The rest just tasted normal to me, but those were definitely my favourite and something you have to try. I loved how everything looked inside. It was so beautiful. Every corner looked so well crafted.

We love Din Tai Fung. This location’s staff and service were above and beyond. We had young infants and toddlers eating with us. The staff were understandable, patient, and helpful. The food quality is top tier. Even thru high chairs and kids plates were quality and unique!
Our favorite are the spicy wontons!

Din Tai Fung is simply the best! The food is always spot-on — from the awesome chicken dumplings and famous soup dumplings to the refreshing cucumber salad, crispy string beans, tender broccoli, and that perfect fried rice. Everything tastes fresh and full of flavor. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and every visit feels like a treat. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

An outstanding place for authentic Taiwanese cuisine! Every dish is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service is impressively quick and attentive, which makes the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The only challenge is the long wait for a table ~especially during peak hours ~but once you’re seated, it’s absolutely worth it. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Taiwanese food! ✨

We were really hungry today and felt the food was taking a bit long, so we asked a few times. The restaurant was quite busy, which I totally understand. To my surprise, the manager personally came over to apologize and even comped part of our meal. It was such a kind gesture, especially since it wasn’t really their fault. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and great service.
This isn’t my first time dining at Din Tai Fung Century city, and it definitely won’t be my last. Thank you for always treating your guests with care!
