Located in the heart of New Jersey’s Indian community, we’ve grown into three thriving restaurants with strong ties to two partner ventures. We absolutely loved our experience at Bombay Talk! Every dish we tried was full of flavor and made fresh. The kids especially loved the noodles, they couldn’t get enough! It’s wonderful to find a place where the whole family enjoys the food. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious and authentic flavors.

Loved the food. However found service to be very slow and also felt they were not really listening to the details of the order. They were really stingy with giving spoons amd forks. However paneer Chilli Dry is a must try and So is the Bhel.

We came here for a weekend snack and really enjoyed the experience here.. it was crowded ( I prefer that to empty restaurants) but the service was very good. Our host was a young man who goes by the name AK took great care of us. Overall very friendly staff,clean floors and tables, great service and great food! Highly recommend!

It’s never fun to write reviews like this. I grew up coming to this place over the last 20 years. Unfortunately the whole experience has truly gone downhill, both with lazy service and barely passing food quality. I would not even call this place Bombay Talk anymore. I think they will continue to be around based on their name/location for some time, but as the other reviews show, this place is a carcass of its old glory days.
We ordered fried rice and it came out cold. The bhel was a different recipe than the one I loved in years past – this was overly sweet, spicy, and tasted like a haphazard cocktail of store-bought refrigerated sauces.
My last handful of visits here have all been disappointing, and it’s finally time to admit it’s the end of an era.
This was my last visit. Excited to support other businesses instead that actually give a damn ✌️

Ordered Vadapav, Manchow Soup, Curly Masala Fries, Veg Manchurian, Cutlet Sandwich.
Soup and cutlet sandwich were the only 2 thing in the above order was tasty. Others had imbalanced taste. Manchurian was Sweet, Vadapav was not vada pav – made with american sandwich style bun, Masala fries was lacking masala.
Service and Staff is good.
We will not visit again. Taste was not to the Indian standard.

One of my friend took me to this restaurant and when I moved in, checked the menu, I was bit skeptical about the food. But I was in for a big surprise, the food was really really good, balanced with spices and salt. Loved the vegetable fried rice, stuffed sandwich. The golden corn with chestnut was fabulous. Service was amazing. Highly recommended.

I would give zero stars for service if possible. The Indian girl who manages the front, billing and everything now needs to learn customer service skills. The South Indian man who use to be the manager before was so pleasant and amazing! The management should train this new one better to continue to keep the loyal customers. We have recently been trying other places around the area including Chowpathy, Bombay spice 2 and food is equally good with better service

Went to Dimple after many years. It used to be our favorite chaat place on our occasional trips to New Jersey in the late nineties and early 2000s. We switched to Mithaas about a decade ago, but there has been a drop in the quality at Mithaas over the past few years (post covid) so we decided to give this place a try again.
TLDR: Mithaas is still better.
Most of the food was average to good, but not great. The mango Panah was clearly from a mix, and too sweet and very salty. The bhel, khasta kachori and pani-puri were ok, but lacked the kick of fresh masala/herbs. The Chinese fried tofu was tasty, albeit a bit oily.
Lastly the masala paan was too sweet, and looked like it had seen a couple of days in the refrigerator.
Service was quick and decent.
The search for the best Chaat place in NJ continues!! Until then, we will have to settle for Mithaas.
