Sitting on the terrace by the water was really delightful!
Service was prompt and attentive.
Food was very good!
My red snapper was cooked to perfection! Moist inside and tasty.
We had also grouper, both fish with different potato style side dishes.
The crusty bread with olive oil, that we started with, and the spanakopita, were all very nice.
We will definitely come back again!
(The catfish populating the waters close to the restaurant after dark provided us some nice entertainment, too)

This was our first time back after coming here frequently several years ago and the quality had dropped…I am very happy to say they have bounced back. We started with an appetizer of hot Dolmades that were excellent. My wife had the scallops with a side of spinach which she liked a lot. I had the Thalassina; Grilled squid, octopus, shrimp, and scallops with a side of Chickpeas in a red sauce. These was also excellent and enough to take leftovers home. I had a glass of the Moschofilero, Boutari which was nice and crisp. The only reason I am not giving the food a 5 is the complimentary bread was slightly stale which was surprising. The waiter was very prompt and kept our water and iced tea glasses refilled without asking.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Dimitri’s. My parents are visiting from Turkey and we have Greek roots, so being able to enjoy raki (ouzo) by the water meant a lot to us.

The grilled red snapper was the star of the night
absolutely delicious. We also tried the calamari, zucchini, fried cheese, char grilled octopus, baklava, and ekmek kadayifi. Everything, from the food to the service, was excellent.

However, something disappointing happened at the end. My uncle paid the $240 bill and generously left a $60 tip. He also ordered three coffees before we left. As we were walking away and talking about how much we enjoyed the night (I was even saying I’d come back just for that red snapper), our server stopped us on the street to say they forgot to charge us for the three coffees.

While I understand mistakes happen, stopping guests after they’ve left over roughly $15 felt unnecessary and embarrassing. I gave him $20 and told him not to worry about it, but the experience slightly took away from an otherwise beautiful evening.

Overall, the food and atmosphere were fantastic. I just hope management considers how situations like this are handled in the future.

Such an amazing lunch with my family. The food was fresh and delicious. The red snapper was just caught the morning of. Our server Chris was beyond attentive and so helpful. He made the experience that much better. The waterfront atmosphere and the true authenticity of the town was just beautiful. Highly recommend and ask for Chris to be your server!!! Can’t wait to go back next year. The BEST !!

Went here on a date night after looking at all the sponges in this small Greek town. 5 stars for dinner is an underrated score. We got a variety of Greek food all of which was top notch. The bread with herbs and oils was delicious, we got 2 different Greek wines, a platter of different dishes and then desert was delicious with our Greek coffee as well.

I love this place so much. The staff consistently does an excellent job and there’s no better Greek food in Tarpon Springs than this.

We were worried they wouldn’t bounce back after last years hurricane and flooding— but they did and are better than ever.

Must haves include:
Saganaki (flaming cheese)
Greek Salad
Avgolemono (lemon soup)
Any fresh seafood
And our daughter loves the blackened chicken Alfredo.

Save bread to feed the catfish.

What a great place. We stopped for lunch and were able to sit outside by the channel. We ordered wonderful cocktails, an appetizer, Greek pita and the fresh catch of the day. Te process is to pick out the fish, pay for it by the pound and the waiter asks how I wanted it served (filleted and etc). The dipping sauce for the bread was out of this work with flavor… simply amazing!! The only complaint I have is that we ordered a flaming cheese and the woman that served it was not fun, she didn’t make it fun at all, yet the cheese was wonderful. Our waiter was great. Hubby loved his fish gyro and while my fish was great, most went home (three pound fish – lol). Definitely want to come back with the family. Ompa!!
