Awesome spot to go for a brunch or lunch. On the weekends they make these cinnamon rolls that are to die for, they are so good. Their brunch cocktails are very good and the service is awesome. Everything I have eaten has been amazing. The biscuits and gravy was on point and my wife’s egg sandwich was really really good. You can’t go wrong with any of the items. Definitely one of the best brunch places in Rochester and Rochester Hills

Tables are all full. Seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen. They have open seats at the bar as well.

Julie is waiting on us.

Quite something to watch the organized chaos of the kitchen.

Ordered hot black coffee, jasmine green tea, the duck bop hash, upgrade to biscuit, Rueben omelet, English muffin and side of truffle mayo, 2 side chicken sausage, side house salad and side of chive cream cheese. $65.19

The duck was rather gamey, there was something in this dish that made it overly sweet about this dish that didn’t sit well for me.
Expected savory and maybe slightly spicy, it wasn’t. I only ate a couple of bites and couldn’t get over the gamey and sweetness of this dish.
My hubby ended up eating the rest of it.

Side salad was fine, lettuce and cucumbers were fresh. I did find a random stowaway chocolate chip at the bottom of my bowl that didn’t belong.

The chicken sausage is good, not dry and perfectly cooked.

Their homemade biscuits are quite good, big, had a nice crunchy crust from the griddle. Even better with their house strawberry jam.

They don’t have any flavored creamers at all.

The Reuben omelet was good, some kraut in it, not a lot of corn beef, but enough.

The chive cream cheese is good.

Service was good.

What a beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. We came for Sunday bunch and the place was busy. But due to staff shortages the upstairs wasn’t open. I was little disappointed by my handmade sausage hash, the sausage was almost nonexistent and they push way too much sauce on top. The pancakes wasn’t great either. Wish I love the food more.

The pancakes were good. The topping was the best part, but the pancake themselves were alright. The burger’s fries were cold though, and didnt taste great. Very subpar to the burger. The restaurant was quite empty, and the service was…. kind of slow? The lady dropped off the menus and went out, took our order. Once we got our food, she didnt ask if we wanted to get anything else (despite us being willing to get another item). When she left us the receipt, she took so long to pick up the card. We actually left it in cash at the last minute because of how long it was taking her. The food is good enough to pay a visit to the place. But the service certainly makes it less of a worthy trip.

It was Sunday morning and we decided to go to The Dime Store for breakfast with friends.  They opened at 8am and we arrived at 9 am and were able to sit immediately with only a few tables taken.

First thing noticed upon entering was a large copper coffee maker and as your eyes followed the room divider with snake plants and at the end was a large mural of a dime.

Sat down and very quickly our server Amber took our drink order, coffee ☕ and water.

The menu was very extensive, so it took us awhile to decide on what we wanted.  We finally decided what to order and placed our order and in no time we were served and our coffees refilled.

Dime Store also sells their coffee cups for $10, so we purchased one.

Overall, we all were very happy with our food and had leftovers. We requested a to go box and were thrilled to learn that they also care for the environment by providing non-foam PFAS-free containers. (Thank you to the owners/management for making this thoughtful and responsible decision!)

We will definitely be coming back for more delicious food.

Actually enjoyed everything, from the friendly hostess, tentative waitress and food I kept it simple yet again with a B.L.T.E seasonal fruit and fries, although I really wanted to try the Veggie Benny! Anywho, the other girls grabbed French toast and the Cold Smoke Salmon and House Potatoes. We’ll be back

A group of friends and I came to celebrate a friends birthday.
I ordered a veggie omelet and asked to add ham, it came with potatoes and requested to change it for a homemade biscuit, I don’t know what oil they use but it wasn’t the best omelet I ever had.
The coffee was so strong and later on the day my stomach was hurting.
One thing the service was outstanding, she was super friendly and patient with our group! Definitely hard to find nowadays.

My family ordered a veggie benny (egg benedict), a veggie omelette, a rhubarb & ricotta pancakes, and a chicken caprese sandwich. They are all carefully made and tasted good. Not too sweet or too greasy.
The restaurant shares space with the Papa Joe’s gourmet supermarket with a tall half wall. The ceiling is high and airy.
Our server was very attentive and sensed our needs very well even before we ask for anything. It was a happy brunch for my family.
Unlike the Detroit location, this location takes reservation.

First time in this location and we liked it! We enjoyed a Bloody Maria and some mimosas. Funny that mimosas are more expensive than the bloody, but they do use freshly squeezed juice and house made mix (one of the best bloodies I’ve ever had at a restaurant). Service was nice, very cordial. The food tasted great – we had just a traditional breakfast a la cart and a Cuban bowl. Definitely will be back! I want to try the Benedict and burger next time!

KELSEY is a fantastic waitress/Bartender , she is the best there.

I had the pleasure of being served by Kelsey at The Dime Store in Rochester Hills not too long ago, and she absolutely made my visit special. She’s incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, and her warm smile and upbeat energy instantly make you feel welcome. Kelsey knows the menu inside out and gave great recommendations that hit the spot. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests. She’s one of those rare people who makes a good restaurant experience unforgettable.
