The food was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the kitchen staff!
The service was outstanding from the host taking our name to “Sydney D on receipt” the wait staff. On leaving, they noticed we didn’t have a bag for our leftovers, went to get one. Greeted us on the way in and on the way out with gratitude for dining there today.
On special is the pork belly and grits. Cooked to perfection. The 3 slices of pork belly were tender and then lightly seared. Grits not too cheesy, not too grainy, not too thin, just right! Soo good! This dish was then garnished with tomatoes, arugula and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
Ordered the Cheesesteak Benny, which is eggs benedict (2 perfectly poached eggs on top of English muffin) with shaved ribeye, topped with melted cheddar cheese and a side of roasted potatoes. This is a savory hearty dish. The potatoes were nice and crisp. One negative is that the muffin was too done. I could hardly cut through with my knife.
Freshly squeezed orange juice and Zingerman’s coffee to go with our meal. We were watching as other dishes came out too, all looked amazing, from the huge omelets, hash dishes, to the popular biscuits and gravy.
Thoroughly impressed each time I’ve been here! Highly recommend! They don’t take reservations. There’s almost always a line to get in. Average wait time for 2 people today (Sunday) around 130pm was 30 minutes. They close 3pm. No dinner service.
