After seeing several posts about Dimba’s Chicken & Seafood # 1 in some Facebook groups I realized that it had been far too long since I had their wonderful food and got to say hello to these amazing people again!
Had the #2 and added a couple of extra puffs and a side of okra. Everything is made to order and came out perfect!

Got my order literally 10 minutes ago. Genuinely the best fried chicken ive ever had. They told me 20 minutes, and it was *perfectly done* in exactly 20 minutes. The gravy is awesome.
Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. I’m never getting fast food chicken again in Lubbock.

I’m not sorry bout speaking on this, but what establishment doesn’t give you “lemons’ to go with your fried catfish? I’ve never went to a place and ordered “fried catfish” that didn’t come with lemons UNTIL now after ordering their Southern fried catfish! It should be a common sense thing but apparently calling and asking why I don’t have lemons to squeeze on my fried catfish apparently annoyed the employee that I talked to. The fact she felt the need to be a smart ass instead of just being kind is sad. But, I have say I won’t be back for the simple fact on how small the catfish was compared to the last time I ate here. I was very disappointed with the whole meal to be completely honest. I think I’ll stick to The Catch and pay an extra couple dollars for some dang good fried catfish with the correct potions sizes. I use to refer people to eat here all the time, but I’ll no longer be doing that after the meal I was served.

ABSOLUTELY GOT TO TRY THIS PLACE! I’m new into town and surrounded by the regular take out places until someone recommended this place! I ordered everything I craved! Simply delicious! Fabulous shrimp and catfish! Homemade! The BEST I’ve ever had! Sprinkled some lemon on top…I’m going again tomorrow! A must try!!!

Not busy when we arrived- 2 other tables. Promptly greeted as we walked in the door. They cook to order so the food is fresh, not sitting under a heat lamp for unknown time. It can take 10- 15 minutes to receive your food so be patient!! We come here about once a month and it is always consistently good. We will be back again!

Tried Dimba’s for the first time tonight. The fried chicken was excellent. It takes 20 minutes to cook, so if you go be prepared. It is piping hot, fresh, and taste like old school, southern fried chicken. The puffs taste like funnel cake and adding honey to them was a great treat. I’d definitely go back. Look forward to trying the catfish and other menu options. Thanks.

When I say I’ve been looking for a place to fry fish let me tell you THEY ARE THE TOP PLACE SO FAR!! And I’ve been here a year!! I’m an island girl with the bayou in my blood so I KNOW FISH!! (Before you read please note that the food does not reflect the service) The online menu does not reflect what current prices are which is irritating as all get out. The ladies working the evening of May the 19th were less than hospitable. In lieu of the fact I paid more than expected and got a “sorry boutcha” type answer, and to the fact I paid it without pitching a fit you could, at very least, try and wear a fake smile. No smiles and even less communication. I must admit though the food is good. So good. So gosh darn good. I mean their catfish is otherworldly delicious. To whomever owns this joint, please update your online menu. It really gives an air of “deception” and the collective public has plenty of the already in 2025. Please and thanks.

Dimba’s is a wonderful local owed and run establishment here in Lubbock. The food is delicious and made to order. I can also appreciate they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. It’s always a great experience!
