The staff are friendly and fast. Free parking is located in the garage for about a 5min walk, otherwise, paid parking right in front. Be sure to pay if you park in front because they will tag you and make you pay like it’s a legit parking ticket. Lots of tables to dine at and the restaurant is very clean. This place has been opened for less than 2 months.
The atmosphere was clean and sedate in the dining area. Not Greek as I expected and I had hoped for more since the chain is relying on a Mediterranean theme. I was fooled.
If you enjoy bland, buffet style dining, then you will be pleased. If you are seeking traditional flavorful Greek dishes and an atmosphere, then you will be displeased. Of all of the numerous dishes offered on the buffet line I would say only a handful would actually activate the pallet- but Greek…not from my experiences in other Greek indoor dining restaurants.
Numerous salads and bread choices to fill your belly before you get to the main dishes. Be cautious here in quantity; you could easily fill up before the main course. The meats were dry and overcooked. The rice was well prepared as expected—but often bland; as well as the sauces and hummus. The avocado hummus was tasty.
Note: The lamb on the bone was enjoyable on the day I went and is offered only on the weekend. Absolutely nothing on the dessert line offered any flavor; unless the syrup on the baklava is something you crave.
One could pontificate on how displeasing an experience was, but I will leave it at this, I will not be returning for a Greek experience.
Best to you all in your adventures.
I visited Dimassi’s with my team earlier this week, and we had an outstanding lunch. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself was spotless, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Since the pandemic, my wife has been hesitant about dining at buffets, but Dimassi’s thoughtful touch of providing plastic gloves for handling serving utensils really stood out. It’s small details like this that show they care about their guests’ comfort and safety.
I’ll definitely be returning—and next time, I’m bringing my family!
This branch is better than other branches I go before and also the pudding rice is so delicious
The food is so good, it really is a buffet, they have awesome student deals.
You can literally replicate your cava bowl here at a better price in my opinion and to your portions.
Definitely got my moneys worth for only $20! In this economy!? This is easily going into my monthly food rotations.
