The Valetine Diner was built in Witchia Kansas for a place on a highway Northwest Missouri in 1948. In 1970 the Valentine original Diner was purchased by the Fultons in Leeton Missouri and moved to current location in 1970, Because the state of Missouri was widened the highway.
The Diner only changed ownership a few times. With many fond memories. We kept in mind to keep the original Diner, but
added on a dining room, kitchen, bathroom after Purchased it in 2021.
Enjoy our sandwiches, burgers, tacos, and salads. Make sure you save room for our shakes, malts, sundae, or homemade cobbler.

The staff and owners were guest friendly and sociable. They care about their customers. The restaurant has booth seating in the back as well as old fashioned counter seating too.

The Peach Cobbler with ice cream was absolutely fantastic! The hospitality was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
While we were waiting for our dessert, the owner surprised us by bringing out fresh pork butts. He placed the pan on the counter, greeted us with a smile, and thoughtfully set out three forks for my wife, my daughter, and me. He mentioned that the pork had been slow-cooked for six hours and encouraged us to cut a generous piece and take a bite.
This experience felt just like being with family, and it truly made our visit memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food and a warm atmosphere!

My family and I stopped in for a bite to eat on the way home from the lake. Talked with the owners for a while, super friendly couple. We all got burgers which were delicious. Will be stopping back through in 2 weeks for another meal on the way home! Highly recommended for a quick good meal.
