We were craving for Dimsum and popped in here. We arrived around 4:30 and were seated right away.

The menu is huge and you mark what you want to order. We got the cucumber salad and shrimp fried roll as an appetizer. Both super delicious.

We then ordered the roasted duck dumplings, shrimp + pork shumai and pork soup dumplings. The star of the show was definitely the roasted duck dumplings. My friend LOVED the soup dumplings more. She’s lived here for 6 years and said this is the best Dimsum spot she’s been to.

This was both our first time eating here and we can’t wait to come back again. I highly recommend this place. Service was quick and food came out fast.

More miss than hit. I’d been curious about this chain of restaurants and it was kind of as I expected… Middling

I might come back to get the beef chow fun to go. They also did a good job on the vegetables. We are the snow pea shoots with garlic and the Chinese broccoli with garlic. The cucumber salad was good! We like the fried shrimp dumplings. The har gow was passable, the dough was sticky not bouncy. I didn’t like the texture of the roast duck dumplings at all.
The roast duck was overly fatty and but very crispy.
Decent chicken soup dumplings.
The pork lo mein was terrible. The noodles were overcooked and the pork was really tough. The Peking pork chops were extremely fatty and some of them are undercooked.

A good thing was that we didn’t feel rushed at all and the place has good acoustics. The staff seemed like they were questioning why we ordered so much food which seemed weird on Chinese New Year.

Dim Sum Palace is one of the best places in the city for a satisfying and flavorful dim sum experience. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels lively and welcoming, and the service is impressively fast food starts arriving at your table within minutes of ordering. It’s a great spot for breakfast or brunch, especially if you enjoy a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes served fresh and steaming hot.
The menu has an excellent range of options for the morning crowd everything from shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and pork buns to turnip cakes, congee, and steamed rice rolls. Each dish is made with care, with that perfect balance of texture and flavor you expect from good dim sum. The shrimp dumplings were plump and juicy, and the barbecue pork buns had that slightly sweet, pillowy texture that melts in your mouth.
One thing worth noting is their hot sauce it’s delicious but seriously spicy, so a little goes a long way! It pairs perfectly with the dumplings if you like a kick.
Overall, Dim Sum Palace delivers on all fronts fast service, plenty of options, and consistently fresh, flavorful food. Definitely a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying dim sum breakfast.

哇!我吃饱了!

The scallion cake was aight — ode oily, to the point where the grease muted the flavor of the onion itself

Xia Long Bao was super good tho, wrapper could benefit from being a little thinner but the actual soup itself was incredibly rich and balanced.

The duck dumplings go BONKERS fr — though I’m not the biggest fan of the gummy rice wrappers on dim sum, the actual duck meat itself was nothing short of mesmerizing. The small cubes of meat were incredibly tender and maintained the perfect ratio of fattiness to flesh, all enveloped in a rich brown sauce.

Oh the goddamn Jiu Cai Jiao dumpling was a sleeper pick —, the succulent shrimp was starkly contrasted by the eye widening bright freshness of the chives. Like biting into a rain forest.

The general Tso (yeah I ordered gtao suck me, it balances the other fresher and or spicier dishes well when eaten in tandem) was absolutely incredible — the chicken was primarily breast meat and still managed to be succulent, while the breading itself was paper thing and crisp. The sauce had the perfect cornstarchy goopiness and was packed with fresh ginger and garlic. Highly recommend.

The food was very tasty and authrntic. Maybe portions could have been bigger in comparison to $$. Overall will be back to try other dishes.

Was staying at the Bowery Hotel for a Sunday night in June, and needed a quick cheap dinner, so ordered stuff from Dim Sum Palace on seamless for pickup. I had the duck spring rolls and seafood shumai. Both were good, and that was enough food for one meal.

Outstanding fried rice, sesame chicken & crispy tofu. Fast service, pretty friendly but atmosphere & decor needs a lift.

Such a gem. Dim Sum Palace downtown is absolutely worth a visit. The shrimp rolls are incredible—so fresh and flavorful. We also had the orange chicken and the egg scallion fried rice, and everything tasted perfectly cooked and super fresh.
What truly makes this place stand out is the service. John, the manager and host, is outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He sets the tone for the entire restaurant. Chang and Shao were also wonderful and made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. You really feel the family-style vibe here, which makes the experience even better.
Don’t miss the coconut dessert—it’s light, refreshing, and the perfect ending. I’m so happy I found this place; Dim Sum Palace downtown is truly a hidden gem.

This restaurant was superb! I would absolutely come back next time I’m in NYC and highly recommend it.

I went with a large group and the service was fantastic. All the food we ordered (a lot) was SO delicious, I especially loved the soup dumplings and the garlic green beans. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Thank you Dim Sum Palace for a great dining experience!

We went for dinner after a play in a theater nearby. They have many options to choose from and the service was really good. We walked in on a Friday night around 9pm and we found a table right away.

The “Pork Soup Dumplings” and the “Shredded Roasted Duck Spring Rolls” were really good. Totally recommended
