Love this place! I love dim sum because I can order so many different things. They bring the dim sum as it’s ready so don’t expect to wait until everyone has all their food to dig in. It’s BYOB too! I especially love the weird movies that are always playing on the screen in the dining room. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in delco.

Wow, the pork with shredded sour cabbage noodles soup was delicious. The soup dumplings were awesome as well. We took out the food at late night and after 30 minutes the food was still good! Highly recommended, and will go back to visit again!

The food was delicious, with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced seasoning. Prices are reasonable, and the service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a spot I’d come back to! Great for big groups too.
Must-try: their seasonal stir-fried vegetables—slightly pricey, but absolutely worth it. The Peking duck was tasty, but they definitely need to include more buns to match the amount of meat.

Having moved from Center City in the last few months, we are happy to say that we found a great dim sum restaurant. Everything we ordered was tasty and when we saw the final bill we were shocked that so much came at that value. Standouts include the bok choy, beef scallion pancakes, Tom’s fried rice, shrimp shaomai, and pan-fried pork dumplings. I almost named everything we ordered but the bottomline is the food here is great. We will most definitely be back!

This is our second time dining at Dim Sum Mania and won’t be returning. Our first dining experience last year was mediocre but this place has such great reviews we wanted to give it a second chance. Ordered a bunch of different dishes, including their famous soup dumpling. My 8 year old loves soup dumplings, refused to eat a second one (their dumpling skin is too thick and doughy)
We also ordered the crispy rice roll, I have mentioned to the waitress the inside is not crispy at all. And her reaction was “oh..” then turned her head, walked away. Mind blowing….
There are much better Chinese / dim sum places around. Don’t wait your money here.. cause they don’t really care.

August 2021: Good tasting food. Good service. Amazing ambiance. At least some vegetarian options in each category. We had steamed vegetable dumpling, Fried dough rice roll (Amazing), vegetarian hand drawn noodles, tofu glass noodle soup and tofu vegetable stir fry.
The restaurant was packed and felt like they were short staffed in the front. The food came quick after we ordered.
Not sure why the restaurant felt so noisy. Maybe it was our corner table and full occupancy.
Vegetarian options are limited but definitely a great place to dine-in.

I really enjoyed my late lunch here at this restaurant on W. State Street in Media, PA. I was greeted and seated promptly at a 2 seater with an open windows view of State Street. I ordered a seaweed salad, hot n sour soup and Spicy Tom dim sum. They filled my glass with ice water and brought a pot of hot red tea. The seaweed salad came next with a brilliant green color with a very fresh and sweetish flavor. The hot n sour soup was flavored perfect and the broth on the thick side. The spicy dim sum was soft on top and crispy brown on the bottom with a mild spicy taste. The service was pleasant courteous and fast. I will return to Dim Sum Mania.

Best variety of dim sum around. I travel all the way from Bear, DE to have good food and great service. They are all so nice when you arrive. Everyone who works there are amazing but we always ask to sit with Ann as she has such a great personality and guides us through the menu. She is so kind and really loves what she does. Worth the ride for the best dim sum!

It’s an OK Chinese restaurant. Food was acceptable but pricey for the portion size. If you are looking for an authentic chinese cuisine, this will not do it for you. I was here for dinner and the service was a bit sporadic, they even handed me the bill and my final dish was not even served yet. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic but modern for the Chinese restaurant. Parking was tough and unfortunately my experience does not warrant the effort.

Ended up coming in about 40 minutes before closing, but the staff was so kind and patient, and food came really quickly. Got the dry fried green beans, bok choy, pork soup dumplings, and scallion pancakes, all of which were incredible (but especially the scallion pancakes and the green beans). Overall a great dining experience, would definitely come back myself and recommend to others!
