Dim Sum Go Go is a fantastic find, especially considering its reputation as a budget-friendly Michelin-recommended spot. The food quality is exceptional and absolutely lives up to the hype.
The standout of the meal was the seafood and meat platter – the colors and shapes were stunning, but the taste was even better. Anything involving the shrimp was simply incredible. We also tried the duck spring rolls, pork soup dumplings, and the Malaysian buns for dessert, all of which were great.
A few crucial tips for your visit:
Book ahead: The restaurant is very busy, and seating is quite limited inside.
Consider Delivery: Because the dining area is small, they seem to prioritize deliveries, so that’s a solid option if you can’t get a table.
Must-Order: If you go, the platter is a must – it’s a showstopper both visually and in flavor.
Overall, this is a top-tier recommendation for anyone looking for high-quality dim sum that won’t break the bank.

Came here for dim sum during lunch. Ordered the meat and seafood dim sum platter and pork pan fried dumplings. Everything was delicious. That green sauce is addictive. I requested for a single beef dumpling in platter to be substituted with anything else to which they refused. This is such a simple ask but was not accomodated. I just asked them to remove it which they did. Michelin guide yeah, but don’t hold your breath for service as it was pretty blunt.

Saw it was on the Michelin bib gourmand list. Ordered the 10 piece platter which was like a sampler plate. Ingredients were fresh and skin was delicate but broke apart too easily. Overall, while some of the items were not typical chinese dim sum items, everything passed the taste test

Fast, helpful service and plenty of food for the price. Our table filled up quickly with steamer baskets, and it was easy to order for a mixed group. There was good variety of vegetarian and meat options.

The space is tight and gets busy, and I’m not sure how to explain it other than it felt it catered or drew in a more Americanized crowd. The food wasn’t bad by any means but nothing really stood out either. Not my first choice for dim sum, but a fine option if you’re already in the area.

Very touristy – we didn’t see any locals during our weekday lunch – but the food was surprisingly good and authentic.

My top recommendations for food:
– Shrimp rice rolls (honestly, any of the rice rolls are a safe bet)
– Beef tripe with black pepper sauce
– Chicken feet with black bean sauce (they were especially tender)
– Bean curd skin with pork

Classic:
– Turnip cake

One-and-done (worth trying once, but wouldn’t reorder):
– Crispy tofu stuffed with shrimp (even the table next to us left it unfinished)

Knocking off a star because:
– Prices are relatively high compared to other dim sum spots
– Tea is served by default and charged, which feels like you’re hit with a table fee

On the plus side, they accept cards, which is convenient if you don’t carry cash.

Had a great experience here – delicious, fresh, and quick service. Didn’t have cash on me to hit up some of my usual dumpling spots and it was pouring outside so wanted somewhere to sit and unwind. We were seated right away on a busy Sunday and our food came out hot and quick. Great dumpling texture and flavor, delicious pork buns and loved the pumpkin cakes.

We had a huge party of about 18 people and the staff took amazing care of us. We ordered a lot of food and it came out super fast. We pretty much ordered every item on the dimsum menu and loved everything. The surprising thing that I didn’t think I would like was the tripe. It was tender and full of flavor. If you want something authentic at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

No nonsense place to get brilliant dim sum. We had just checked into our hotel and wanted quick food and dumplings were the perfect option.

This place was highly rated for dim sum and we can see why. Very authentic good price and lots of variety.

Food came out very quickly and we got stuck in straight away. Service was efficient, seemed al little annoyed when I asked for more dipping sauce. When we were asked if we wanted anything else I said I wasn’t sure they wanted an answer and basically gave us the bill straight away.

Really high quality food for anyone wanting authentic food. They take card payment too. Recommend pork and shrimp steamed dumplings and the duck steamed dumplings.

We came to visit Chinatown on a hot summer day, after a long walk in the sun, and we were looking for a proper sit-down restaurant with air conditioning and clean restrooms — somewhere comfortable to relax for a bit.

We saw this place had great reviews on Google Maps, so we decided to give it a try.

The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was air-conditioned and had clean restrooms, which was exactly what we needed.

It was also really nice to see that a couple was allowed in with their dog — a pet-friendly touch we appreciated.

The dim sum I loved most was the curry beef — it was my first time trying that flavor and it was wow.
We also had a beef and stir-fried vegetable dish that was amazing — the meat was tender and fresh, and the vegetables were crisp and flavorful.

Highly recommend stopping by! Even though it’s not right on the main Chinatown street, it’s definitely worth the short walk.

As you can see, we ordered 2 vegetables dishes and 1 noodle dish. On the menu clearly says that the vegetables dishes come with white rice. When I ask for the rice, they want to charge me $2/ bowl. When I told them it’s free, they told me it’s lunch special. I told them that the menu didn’t state it is for lunch special. Then they told me it’s for to go. I told them show me where on the menu state it is for to go. They then whisper to each other and say give him the big bowl for the both of them. They came back with a small bowl full to the top. I asked for an empty bowl so I can split it.
