This spot is a hidden gem ✨️ So what’s inside this Taishan Big bun? It’s filled with chicken, pork, egg, and Chinese sausage in a sweet white fluffy bun. It came out hot and fresh! They usually sold out fast so luckily I got there on time.

THIS is the place that we are sure to stop in when we are in the City! Absolutely the best selection and flavor! The baked pork buns have the right texture and such good flavor. It’s all delicious–so plan to get there in the first half of the day as they sell out sometimes!

The food was really delicious and we liked it so much that we went back to buy more. The staff told us the wait would be 15 minutes, but we ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes. It seems some items might have been prepared earlier, so when we received our wontons, they were stuck together and a bit mushy, which was disappointing.
However, the sticky chicken rice was excellent — highly recommended!

Best affordable authentic Chinese food in the area. Pork buns especially! Great place and often busy and a great spot in Chinatown! Everytime I get the chance to stop by I usually go for the baked pork buns and steamed custard buns, but I have never have a bad experience here!

We stopped in based on reviews and tried a few items: pork bun, soup dumplings, fried dumplings and shrimp dim sum. The filling in the pork bun was very sweet and the meat didn’t taste very fresh, so it was just ok. The shrimp dim sum was tasty and so were the fried dumplings . The soup dumplings had a good taste but I don’t think any of us were fans of the texture. The place is very small and was crowded when we entered, so we had to find a corner to review the menu. FYI: there is no seating. While standing in line a lady attempted to cut us and place her order. The lady behind the counter promptly informed her that we were next in line and took our order. This was appreciated as she didn’t seem to speak English. I would try this place again if ever in the area.

This is a great place to stop and grab a quick bite. Not too many vegetarian options, but the sesame balls are heavenly and the spring rolls are deliciously crispy. The prices are great and depending on the time of day, the wait is decent. Well worth it either way!

Very authentic China town dim sum family owned find. Up to 69 different options on the menu to choose from. While you wait you can hear the sounds of the foreign native languages of the family as they speak to one another while preparing our food. So much fun.

The shrimp dumplings were a standout—expertly steamed with tender wrappers and a rich, juicy filling that hit all the right notes. The shrimp siu mai didn’t disappoint either, packed with bold flavor in every bite. Dim Sum Bistro is a gem worth discovering, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We tried several Dim Sum locations in SF and this place had by far the best baked bbq pork buns. All of the menu items were larger compared to other locations and very reasonably priced. They took cash or card. There were a few tables to sit at which is rare. The ladies that helped us were very patient with us although there was a little language barrier. As long as you know what you’re ordering you should be fine. There are some pictures.
