Amazing food from a passionate chef. I had the lamb and chicken over rice. It’s all made fresh and right infront of you. The menu is super easy to read. I love the pictures and design that his daughter from Drexel made. It’s not overwhelming to look at all. And the prices are incredibly fair. I’ll definitely be back for more. Make sure to give him a good tip too.

First of all, the food here is DELICIOUS. I went less than an hour before they closed and the staff were nonetheless super friendly and welcoming. They gave us the menu and didn’t rush us as we were deciding on what to order and I was surprised at how fair the prices were given the quality and quantity of food. My favorite so far is definitely the Chicken Biryani. The spices and wedge of lemon they add to it really ties the whole dish together. If you don’t know what to order, ORDER THAT. YOU WON’T REGRET IT‼️ (pictured: chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, and the complementary rice with hot sauce and white sauce that comes with it)

It’s a halal and very clean restaurant. I had tested chicken over rice. If you’re from Philly or familiar with the many halal food trucks around there with great Chicken over Rice platters, this place is basically that but in the suburbs. I’ve tried a lot of places nearby until I found this one – it’s a bit more expensive than you’d get from a truck but the food is great and appears clean. We’ve only tried chicken over rice, veggie samosas, and fries so far but they were all enjoyable with decent portions.

Lovely family and the food was delicious!! The lamb & chicken plate and the chicken biriyani were full of flavor. Different spice levels available. Their jelabi dessert (like mini funnel cakes in syrup) is so tasty. A must try!

Alhamdulillah, the lamb, chicken and rice was delicious. Most friendly out of everyone there in my opinion. They greeted me, smiled, said hello. I would definitely go back over and over. Plus it’s halal. Food with care.

Highly recommend this place! Speedy service and a kind team. I highly recommend the Biryani Chicken and the chicken tikka masala if you do not know what to get! You will not be disappointed with this meal! Also don’t forget the samosas! The samosas are absolutely amazing and have a hint of spice which makes it literally the best samosa I have ever had! I can’t wait to go back and try their sweets next! I drove 30+ minutes here and it was worth every minute. Next time you are need of some yummy homemade foods, Dilshad Halal Cuisine is the place to go.
