Food is great atmosphere was that of an Irish pub service was good. The servers was she definitely knew her stuff very knowledgeable about the food. I would absolutely listen to them. If you ask what they would recommend our waitress was on top of her game and the food was some of the best we’ve had in a long time, especially at a bar so go ahead and check it out Out you won’t be disappointed.

As a frequent traveler, I rarely find places that feel genuinely authentic anymore — but this bar instantly became one of those rare gems. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and effortlessly real, the kind of spot that makes you forget you’re just passing through and convinces you to stay a little longer.

The food exceeded every expectation: the ahi tuna was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the French onion soup tasted like something straight out of a classic Parisian kitchen — rich, comforting, and full of character. Tip: ask for a baguette on the side — you won’t regret it. It’s the perfect pairing.

And I have to confess: I absolutely fell in love with the bartender. She looks like a Hollywood superstar — stunning, charismatic, with that natural screen-presence beauty you don’t forget. She was incredibly kind and even sold me a beer glass for my travel collection for just $3. A perfect souvenir from a perfect night.

Highly recommend this place — it’s the kind of bar that becomes a story.

Great food, decent service — but disappointing communication

We visited this sports bar with a group of about 35 motorcycle riders. The food was great, and the service team handled our big party relatively quickly and efficiently — which we definitely appreciated. While the staff wasn’t particularly friendly, they got the job done well.

That said, the lack of communication was frustrating. I called six times over the three days leading up to our visit to give them a heads-up — as we often ride in groups of 25–35 and like to make sure the restaurant is prepared. Unfortunately, no one ever answered and there is an answering machine with no choice for a message. I even stopped by the restaurant at 11:14 a.m. on the day of our visit — just an hour before arrival — but the doors were closed, and the staff inside (which I could clearly see thru the glass) wouldn’t acknowledge me.

This kind of lack of responsiveness gives the impression that customer service isn’t a priority. It’s a shame, because our lunch overall was enjoyable.

We may consider returning in the future, but we’d hope to see better communication and a more welcoming attitude from the team.

Ted and I went to Dillon’s after doing a Google search for a great sports bar in Tavernier, FL. We watched the Miami Hurricanes vs Indiana. We met some wonderful locals and the tvs were everywhere. Such a great location! However, the person who orchestrated the whole bar- without fault- was Clara. Pretty much singlehandedly- she served the whole darn place with drinks. Yes, she had help, but she kept her eye on every customer. Meanwhile, the food is delicious. We had a Caesar salad with grilled grouper that was to die for!
Two days later, we went for a meal- grouper appetizer was delicious. Again, Clara was at the forefront making sure all customers were happy. She is an amazing person with a work ethic that is not seen too much anymore. We love Dillon’s and will be back bc of Clara and the food. Management should treasure an employee like Clara!

Dillon’s Pub & Grill is hands down one of the best spots in the Keys! Every time we visit, we bring in our fresh catch and let them cook it up—and they absolutely nail it every time. Whether you choose blackened, grilled, or fried, the fish always comes out cooked to perfection: flavorful, tender, and never overdone. It’s honestly some of the best preparation of fresh fish we’ve ever had.

But it’s not just about the catch—the rest of the menu is just as impressive. Their own dishes are packed with flavor, and the sides deserve just as much attention. The loaded baked potato is a must-try—comfort food at its finest, generous in portion and absolutely delicious.

On top of that, the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very fair for the quality and portions you get. It’s the perfect combination of local charm and consistently great food.

If you’re heading to the Keys, make sure Dillon’s Pub & Grill is on your list. Whether you’re bringing in your own catch or just stopping by for a meal, you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit!

Great Irish pub. Our server was very nice and did a great job explaining the different dishes available. Food was delicious and there was a nice selection of different beers, with some good local choices, along with a full bar. There were a lot of televisions, with different sporting events available to watch. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here.

Typical local bar atmosphere. Very comfortable and friendly place that could use some updates.

We came here for lunch and I ordered the potato skins for appetizers, the Reuben sandwich and the grouper Reuben sandwich. Food was ok but not good. Potato skins were dry and overcooked and the sandwiches were just ok. We both had unsweet tee and sadly they tasted watered down.

Service was great, we were waited on right away and checked on often. There was plenty of free parking and this is a large restaurant with plenty of seating. Prices were reasonable. But unfortunately with the many restaurant options in the keys, we will not be returning to here.

We came here twice during our stay and both visits were great. The food was good especially the Jamaican chicken wings as well as the Reuben. The drink was good and very reasonable and staff were excellent.
