So someone told us to come to this place so we did and we had a delicious lunch I ordered the pimento cheeseburger with tots. The service was friendly and quick and efficient and the food was hot and delicious. I love the diner atmosphere and I love the menu. I would definitely come here again and the prices are extremely reasonable.

My grandson enjoyed his BLT but said Al’s Diner is better. My chicken Philly with fried chicken was dry and all bread and the lettuce and tomato was hot. No sauce. The tater tots were overdone. Our appetizer was mozzarella sticks and marinara, those were good. Definitely not worth $33 and wouldn’t go back.

We tried the chicken snitch with ff. It was delicious! The strawberry short cake was wonderful! The spaghetti had meatballs and came with a salad and toast. The fried shimp salad was very good also.

Burgers are exactly the same as the boiled burgers they used to serve in school except the texture is worse, they’re a bit larger, and wayyy more expensive.
I mean the burger wasn’t really expensive but it’s like $12 for a burger that tastes like $3.
Tater tots were genuinely both gross and flavorless somehow.
Staff was nice.
Vibes were like a cold sad 50s dinner even though the theme is Dillinger, who died in 1934.
Dropped the service rating cause the response to this review was goofy.
I know how inflation works, I’m not comparing your prices to 3 years ago. I’m comparing to down the street right now.

Dillingers in Pittsboro is a fun experience and features a robot that delivers your order to your table. It’s really caught on so sometimes it is a little hard to get a table around lunchtime.
They recently upgraded their menu greatly expanding the available options. They may have gotten a little ahead of themselves, however. Today when I ordered the newly added roast beef sandwich I was told they ran out of roast beef. My second choice was the newly added Reuben, but I was told they hadn’t yet gotten any corned beef.
So, I settled for a cheeseburger. As always, a good choice as a large patty, nicely cooked medium rare arrived on a delicious bun. They have a double-burger on the menu, but the regular burgers are so big, I don’t think I could eat one.
Despite the busy scene, the wait staff always keeps on top of things with homey, pleasant service. I think much of their staff has been with them since they opened.
Anyway if you’re looking for a pleasant place with a nice selection of good options, give Dillingers a try. I think you’ll like it.

Went for lunch with my wife. We have been here a few times prior and always been happy. The restaurant was moderately busy but not crowded. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and my wife ordered a cheesesteak sub. The food was very good, hot and tasty. The service was excellent. The only negative experience was that it looks like they removed chicken wings from their menu, which is too bad, because their chicken wings were quite good. I would like to see them brought back.
While I haven’t tried it, they have an extensive dessert menu, especially in the ice cream department, and one other customer ordered a sundae that looked fabulous.
According to their FB page, the hours are slightly limited: lunch on Mon and Tue, lunch and dinner on Wed, Thurs, Fri. However, I would say they’ve found their niche and they do it well, especially given that there is a fair bit of weekday lunch competition in the area.
Would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Eastwick Farms
Decent food, huge portions average prices. If you get a double burger, you’d better be hungry! Fries are good, tots are better. This isn’t fast food, it’s far better quality at slightly higher prices. Good selection of toppings, fresh beef, and a robot! Dessert is worth saving room for though I doubt you will.

A great, family-friendly choice in Pittsboro. We stopped in on a Friday night with our kids. The staff were friendly and prompt, the food was pleasing to everyone (a rarity these days family meals out) and reasonably priced. We will be back and look forward to trying the ice cream next time! The freshly grilled chicken on the chicken snitch sandwich was a delightful surprise!

Atmosphere was nice. Service was very good. My wife said her burger was great. I ordered the MamaT and was very underwhelmed. It was tasty but quite small it seemed. It was described as roast beef. It seemed literally like one slice of deli meat. I am local and want to help my small family businesses so will not ding them too much for this visit. Thus we will likely return (but will ask up front about menu selections).

Had lunch today and food was really good. A double cheeseburger was more than I could eat. Very good quality meat. Crinkle fries were perfect. Service was wonderful and even the robot was neat! Prices not bad for real food. Going to bring the wife back for a date!
