Attentarive service. Kept my wallet when I lost it. So no complaints here.
These hard working lady’s provide a comfortable, inviting and friendly place to recharge and relax and refuel.
Doug’s Signature was my latest find on the menu. It includes Two Poached Eggs and Chorizo on Toast or English Muffin.
Matt says check this place out!
I ordered online 5/10/23. My order was supposed to be ready at 950am. I walked to the establishment while on my break just knowing that my order would be ready at the appropriated time. I walk into the establishment and inform the cashier that I’m here to pick up the mobile order that I’ve placed. Clerk asks…”mobile order?” Then she looks to find the order. “ oh give me 15 minutes” she says. Then while I’m waiting she comes over to inform me that I can’t have part of my order and I will have to accept a substitute because it’s not 11am yet. The online menu nor the app specified that French fries aren’t available before 11am. I even paid extra for it. Then two of the three women get into an altercation in the kitchen while preparing the food. My “home fries” are microwaved and still half cold, the 2 biscuits are kinda sorta semi warm, but no butter no jelly, etc, the “grilled chicken salad” has store bought lunch meat on it. I asked for cheese, that costs extra of course ( salad only comes with boiled egg avocado, and lettuce ). I was given distilled white vinegar, and honestly …I’m not sure this is olive oil that I was given for the salad. All I’m saying is I honestly feel cheated out of my $43.00 that I paid for an omelette and a salad. AFTER I DEDUCTED THE AUTOMATIC 10% FOR GRATUITY.
I’m just saying……this could be a great place one day…….Just isn’t…..it……today is all.
One last thing……someone needs to teach the staff how to make an “omelette”…….ummm what I was given was a scramble at best. But it definitely was NOT an omelette at ALL by ANY stretch of the imagination WHATSOEVER. They just threw ingredients in egg and stirred it up literally. For the prices they charge the service needs to come WAAAAAAAAY UP!!
This place has excellent food! The tuna sandwich was phenomenal and the eggs benny were pretty good! The coffee is fresh, hot, and delicious. Service was quick, and the food came out exactly on time. The ambiance is pretty good, with decent decor and clean surfaces.
The bad:
The service is… mixed. The waitstaff are not very outgoing but that’s hardly a concern. They do check to make sure things are in stock and that means a lot.
The ugly:
Breakfast ran $50 for 2, so it’s not cheap eats. But for a special treat, totally worth it!
The owners are always so super authentic and friendly. They make sure you have everything you need. They address you by your first name and which I think is a game changer. If I ever ran a cafe, this is how I’d want to follow suit!
Street parking.
