Quick place to pick up seasonal grilled veggies. Love the concept and everything looked so delicious. However, the rice was dry and hard. Charred grilled broccoli were too big to eat, oily and salty. Sweet potatoes were too burnt. Chicken was cooked dry and salty as well. Even without their aioli sauce the bowl was overall too salty. I roast sweet potatoes, broccolis all the time and enjoy them with rice and chicken, yet it was never this salty, burnt or dry. Looks very healthy yet I can’t really tell if it’s actually healthy. Will choose Sweetgreens or Flower Child over Dig Inn.

I wasn’t greeted but grinned at when I walked in today at 7ish pm. This is my fourth visit. Food here is great. But the service my first two visits was a1. Everyone was friendly. Complimented my clothes. Great attitude. That was when the district manager was working in house. My last two visits including today. Today is the worst. I probably won’t be back. Take my money somewhere else. Walk in to attitude. No one here knows what polite and respect is. Protein slices usually come with three. Today she gave me two. I told her last time I got three slices how come today I only get two. She says it’s weighted. So I asked shouldn’t you weigh it. And she said it’s ok I’ll give you a slice. So which one is it? But I wasn’t even done choosing sauces and cashier says I can ring you. I look behind me no one in line. What’s the rush? Go back and chop something to talk to kitchen mates? This place isn’t going to last in Bethesda if their staff won’t change their attitude. Young kids with no proper management on duty. They need a chaperone in here.

Awesome food for the price point in terms of taste and nutritional value! For protein, I tried their salmon, charred chicken, and tofu. Their tofu is amazing. Great texture and taste. I personally not a big fan of their charred chicken cuz I don’t like a spice they put in (likely fennel seed). Farro salad was great! I love barley and thus keep getting it. It is quite flavorful. However, they added bits of candied citrus peels in it and I caught me off-guard sometimes heh.

I adore their carrots and broccoli both are perfectly seasoned and the portion is generous (big trunks!)

We ordered thru app on Monday. I was so impressed and we got food from them again on Tuesday as well. Will definitely coming back.

We wanted to love Dig. The design is slick and the menu includes better for you food, including lots of fresh vegetables. However, my entire family walked away not enjoying our dinner. The chicken on their sandwich was undercooked and I got food poisoning from it. Despite being told the honey glaze on my wife’s bowl would be on the side, it was poured in mounds on top creating an overpowering experience. Our eight-year-old daughter didn’t love her mac and cheese. We’ll return to give them a second chance as it may have been an off day, but we didn’t love our dinner.

Wanted to like this place but the salmon was overcooked and dry, the sweet potato and broccoli were nicely cooked but bland, and the entire bowl seemed tired. The place reminded me of an old school cafeteria only with fresher food.

The taste and texture was spectacular and it was a hearty, healthy meal. Excellent service. I got a make your own bowl with spiced farro, farm greens, kale salad, sheet tray carrots, crispy chicken, hot honey and garlic aioli. Absolutely recommend!! Devoured it entirely My coworker recommends the tofu as well – she said it was perfectly crunchy. We’ll be coming back here again for sure!!

Dig in Bethesda is a fantastic spot we discovered while exploring Bethesda Row with my husband. I love walking around the area, checking out all the stores, and Dig’s location right on the corner of the streets makes it very visible and convenient. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh, farm-to-table options, from hearty grain bowls to vibrant salads, all made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

I also appreciate that the seasoning in their dishes is perfectly balanced—not too salty, but just right to enhance the flavors. It’s a kid-friendly place with a dedicated kids’ menu, and on Mondays, kids eat for free with the purchase of an entree—such a great perk for parents looking for a healthy dinner option. The casual, modern atmosphere makes it a great place for a quick, nutritious meal.

I’m still wondering how I missed this place when I traveled to Bethesda; you really can’t miss it. I went there for dinner at a special event.
Upon our arrival, the chef gave us a special treat and set up stations to make our own focaccia bread, which we could then cook and take home. Of course, he inspired us on how to tailor our bread. Thank you, chef. This is a nice touch to the evening festivities.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The staff was terrific and attentive.
I chose the Homestyle Herb Chicken, which was so delicious: tender and well-seasoned with a bit of gravy. The mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli were cooked to perfection.
For dessert, I chose the flourless brownies, which were mouth-watering. Let me remind you that I’ve said in other reviews that I’m not a dessert person and especially not a brownie person for some reason. Please forgive me if I offended you with this.  To save face, I ate one and was blown away by how soft and moist it was; it melted in my mouth. It took everything within me not to take two brownies off the plate, wrap them in a napkin, and place them in my purse. I was trying to show some décor…
Now that I know about this place, I certainly will be back.

This place is amazing. The quality in the food is top tier. Super Healthy options. My go to spot in Bethesda. The only thing is that for an extra side you have to pay a whole $5. Little pricey.
But overall, food is amazing!

Great little fast casual option. The food was delicious in a way that makes you feel warm and comfortable. And it might not seem obvious but you have to try the Cannelloni Bean Salad…delicious with any of the proteins and two other more traditional sides
