For the longest time I had completely given up on southern buffets. Most of them closed down and the chains like golden corral just aren’t very good. But hold the phone dietz is special, everything I ate was cooked to perfection almost everything was seasoned, and the deserts weren’t some cheap mass produced box mix. I wish I lived closer because wow this spot really is wonderful.

I was on my way back from a job in Warsaw and noticed this place on my way through Clinton. I had to turn around and go back. I’M SO GLAD I DID! It was early still like around 4 pm . They had so much great food there! Taco bar, roast, soups, salad bar, BBQ chicken, fried chicken livers, homemade rolls with sweet butter, homemade cobbler- I WATCHED A A LAST WAS MAKING THE CRUST FOR A PIE WHEN I CAME IN, my absolute favorite is the BREAD PUDDING WITH RUM SAUCE! It’s the best for miles and miles! I have tried almost everywhere in KC and this place has got it perfected!

We are traveling from GA to SD. We stopped in Clinton for the night. Found this restaurant close and decided to take our chances and walk over. We are SO GLAD we did! This is not your typical buffet. The food was kept fresh the entire time we were there. The restaurant had half the restaurant seated the entire time we were there. We visited at 630p on Thursday. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t good. The salad bar was so nice to have… The veggies were great… The kids even ate! Loved what they got. Rolls must have!!! Excellent staff…very friendly. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. If you are stopping here and need a variety to choose from…this is your stop! Give it a try … You will not be disappointed and so glad you stopped here and supported a local family owned business.
