I am a regular and always have a wonderful meal here.
I find the Fricadelle to be light, moist and delicious.
The German potato salad is so unique and a very popular dish.
The schnitzel sandwich is perfect on a hot summer day.
I am also partial to the Italian side of the menu.
My favorite, the spaghetti and meatballs, is superb.
Try it with a salad and the house dressing.
There is something on the menu for everyone.

We had the lunch-sized brats with sauerkraut, at the end of the lunch shift. Very good. Just the right amount of food to head into a three-hour evening class. At the corner of North and Sunset. If you’re looking for a place to eat after the zoo, you’ll do well to come up to downtown and nosh before you head home.
NC suffers (understandably) a dearth of (good)(any) German restaurants. Can’t speak for Die Fricadelle’s Italian side; I’m off gluten and therefore pasta. Loved the brats, for sure.

The waitstaff was very friendly, but they did not have half of the menu avalable. The cook also refused to prepare german coffee for my wife. The namesake tasted like meatballs from a potluck dinner. I did, however, enjoy my wife’s curry sausage.

Tiny little place. Stumbled upon it while in Asheboro on business. I was overly delighted with the jager schnitzel and my co-worker said the spaghetti and meatball was great.
