I will always love this place! Portland is my hometown. There isn’t another, “dick’s pizza palace” anywhere else. So, when I get the chance to stop in to see the memorabilia on the walls, (which have been the same for as long as I’ve known this place) & taste the food, I grew up eating, its very nostalgic for me. Service is great there, as well. Overall, very satisfied with this place.

I’m not usually one to complain because I understand working in a restaurant can be hard, but I ordered delivery and after waiting a whole hour I called to ask if maybe we were forgotten, I was told that the delivery driver had JUST gotten there. When I ordered I was never told there wasn’t a driver yet instead they let me wait for over an hour without notifying me. My food was still wonderful as per usual and I did still tip the driver, but I’m very disappointed that I wasn’t made aware there was no driver when I called, I would have came and picked it up myself….

We have not had any breadsticks or pizza from there in years when I got there to pick up our food, the two ladies work in there were so hospitable nice friendly. I know if we would’ve went to eat the atmosphere would have been amazing but like always the food was absolutely delicious.

The place isn’t so cleaned, they are slow to serve 2 pizzas, but the waiting is compensated by the quality

Got an 18 inch “DELUXE” PIZZA, consisted mostly of cheese, MAYBE 3 STRIPS OF GREEN PEPPERS, VERY LITTLE SAUSAGE, PEPPERONI and onion. Also got order of breadstick all take out. Cost was 35.oo and left a 5.oo tip. WE WONT BE ORDERING THERE AGAIN. NEXT TOME WE WILL ORDER FROM BOUSERS IN U.C

Love the irony of calling a cozy little place like this a palace :D. The food is amazing, especially the deep fried bread sticks (yes, deep fried, yum!). They’re like fresh made garlic butter doughnuts, with cheese sauce. Never had anything like them, and it’s a shame I like 130-ish miles from here, I’d love to come back for more soon. And yes, the pizza is great. It’s a thicker crust (though not rising bread thick, but definitely not crispy thin, either). I’m not sure if that’s because I got the pan crust, but it wasn’t a tough crust either. Some places you have to rip the crust more than bite it, but this crust was just right for me. I got the Pepperoni Blast Pizza, and they piled on the cheese and pepperoni. So good!

Hands down the best breadsticks I’ve ever had. The pizzas are always loaded and oh my THE CHEESE !! Inside is small with local and pop history. Just all-around a great little local gem.
