Had a great time at Dick’s Last Resort in San Antonio! We sat outside and the whole experience was exactly what you hope for here. Our waitress was super attentive, and the sarcasm and insults were absolutely top-notch
We got personalized hats with creative insults, which just added to the fun. The food was also really good — we ordered the fried shrimp and tater tots. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, crispy, and not overdone, and the tater tots were hot and crunchy as well.
Can’t beat the $4 margaritas either — cheap and tasty. Honestly, the price point made them even better. We were also advised that the “crappy hour” margaritas were better than the full-priced ones, and that advice did not disappoint.
Great food, great service, and hilarious vibes all around. Would definitely go back!

This is a stop you must make. It’s the perfect amount of rude—just enough sass to keep you on your toes, but not enough to hurt your feelings. Honestly, if they’re not playfully roasting you, did you even go?
They make the most ridiculous hats, so prepare yourself for a solid belly laugh (possibly at your own expense). Embrace it. You’ll survive.
One thing to note: the bathroom is on the second floor, and yes, it’s a bit of a hike. But don’t worry—the staff will happily cheer you on like you’re summiting Everest. Hydrate with happy hour accordingly.
The appetizer platter was good, but I’ve had better elsewhere.
Also, shoutout to our waitress/bartender extraordinaire, Brittany. She was holding it down behind the bar and in the dining area and knows exactly how to make a girl feel special with a $4 happy hour margarita. Thanks, Britt. I’m sure I’ll be seeing you again very soon!

Joseph was our server and that man provided one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Yeah the location was gorgeous. Yeah the food was freaking delicious (try the crab legs). Yeah the cocktails were world class, but the service was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. My face still hurts from laughing. It was such a treat after our son’s bootcamp graduation to be so thoughtfully welcomed, and humorously ribbed it was probably one of the highlights of a trip of lasting memories. I’ve got one more teenager hopefully we’ll be back in a few years for another graduation. Do yourselves a favor and eat there. It was such a treat. And Justin was the friggin man.

I had heard about this restaurant before and I happened to be in San Antonio. Out of curiosity, I looked up “The restaurant where where staff are intentionally mean to you”, and I not only found out that there was one in San Antonio, but it was literally right next to where I happened to be!
I went in for a margarita just to experience the atmosphere, and I was not disappointed! My server did a fantastic job of roasting me and I loved it. And the drink was great!

I took my friend for her birthday and everything was great. I recommend this place 100%. The food delicious very delicious and omg the bowl drink was delicious. Great experience, my friend loved it and we making plans to go in a group.
