Only a really particular type of person would like this sports bar. It’s not normal. For myself, it’s the worst bar experience I’ve had.
We walked in and it’s more packed than Taylor Swift concert. No joke – junk to butt. Trying to dodge people the entire time. Imagine the parking lot situation… We had a table waiting this Friday winter night.
Got to the table and no one wants to stay. It’s so loud none can hear or talk. It gave myself a migraine – so we passed on ordering any food or drinks. A few got some basic beers from the bar. I passed tho.
They don’t have a beer menu. I was looking for a festive beer. But I was told to look online. Did so, but there are no drink descriptions, pics, or prices. I’m not one to just throw my wallet across the bar.
The fire marshall should check them for occupancy limits. Nothing could drag me back into this chaotic mess of a sports bar.

Dickmann’s is the sports lover’s bar of choice! This is one of the best UK bars around that I know of and highly enjoy. They have a million tv’s with lots of different games on always throughout the season. Great drinks, bar, sand volleyball, and really really good food for such a small kitchen. They pump out some amazing wings, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, etc. It’s self-serve and order at the kitchen, and full-service at the bar. Cold beers, cocktails, shot specials, they offer it all. I simply love the atmosphere, sights and sounds there. Always a good time and usually very crowded during big game days for basketball and football. Live music on occasion too. They also have a large, beautiful, outdoor patio with televisions, heaters, and a firepit for relaxing on nicer days. This place is classic gem that’s been there 25/30+ years and is tucked away in Ft. Wright on Orphanage Road. Unique, fun, delicious, and satisfying in every way. Please check them out! Go Wildcats !!

Hitting the letter “D” on our Alphabet Couples Dinners and Dickman’s did not disappoint. Large crowd on a Thursday. Couple of dozen in the Volleyball court. Most tables filled inside. We ate on the patio with trees providing shade and a cool evening breeze. Steph, our server, brought us menus and took care of our drinks. Bar did not have olives for a martini. What’s with that? You order inside and pay and pick it up when your beeper goes off. Cauliflower pizza crust, burgers were terrific. Good fried pickles and onion straws. Comfortable and relaxed evening. Will return soon.

Popular sports bar offering wings, pizzas, and sandwiches. Seat yourself, and a server will be around to take your drink order. If you want food, there is a window you place your order at. When your food is ready, your pager will go off, and you can pick up your food at the window.
I recommend Dickmann’s if you are looking for somewhere to watch a game, drink a few beers, and get a bite to eat.

I placed a very large carryout order (25+) for pick up at 11:30, only 1/2 hour after they opened. The order was ready on time, correct and the boxes had the names of the sandwich written on them. They were very accommodating and the staff was wonderful!

Edit: the menu has changed as far as options for some things, but the tood is still the same. Delicious as ever. Atmosphere is great here, very diverse crowd, absolutely a fun time.

I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat, so I went with the appetizer sampler. Let me tell you, the honey jalapeño boneless wings were awesome.
The poppers were good, as well as the pretzel sticks and cheese and the quesadilla.
I’m definitely going back for the wings!

First time here, had a burger and some waffle fries. The food came out hot and tasted very good. The lunch specials are super affordable. The Bar tender was on point with her service.

I’m not sure what the issue was, but the waitress seemed very eager to clear our table. Twice, items were taken before I was finished. First, my plate was removed even though I still had appetizers left—I just hadn’t put another one on my plate yet. Then, a few minutes later, my silverware and napkins that were sitting next to me on the table were taken as well, even though I was still in the middle of eating. Nothing we did would have prompted this. My husband had water, I had one beer, and we ordered our food at the counter. I honestly didn’t know what to say in that moment.

Great pizza .. ended up ordering a second one. Taste was great but their large size seems equal to medium at other places. Still worth it.
