We stopped in for lunch while in town and wanted to try the local seafood. We ordered fish and shrimp with fries, keeping it light since we had work to do. The service was friendly and helpful, and the menu had plenty of seafood options. The decor was a bit dated, but the food was fresh, crispy, and served piping hot. Prices were very reasonable. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area to explore more options.

This is the most amazing food. I got the lunch special which includes 6 large fried shrimp, fries, and salad. I added a bowl of seafood gumbo (I added sausage), and substituted hush puppies instead of fries. The shrimp were perfectly crunchy, juicy, and golden. The gumbo comes with rice and crackers. All of this for less than $18.

The Shrimp Étouffée was the best I’ve ever had outside of New Orleans. I just wish I lived closer. But I highly recommend it! Lots of parking. Clean restrooms. The fried shrimp was also really good! Fast and friendly service. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

Don’t judge it by the outside. The food here is amazing!!! I had grilled fish and shrimp and he had fried fish, shrimp, and oysters. Everything was sooo good! We’ve also catered from them before and it was so easy to do so. They were perfectly on time, all the food was still hot, and everyone enjoyed it. We had fried fish, fried shrimp, grilled fish, grilled shrimp, fries, and cole slaw. Best part is not only the food but the prices!

For about $12.00, I got the shrimp, oyster, and fish combo. Overall, not bad. The fish and shrimp were fresh and quite crispy. The appetizer salad was also good.

This is a restaurant that bought an old shut down fast food restaurant (Burger King or McDonald’s). One of those family owned restaurants where you know the food is gonna hit. It has a lot of charms about it.
There were 3 of us and we got 2 combos (fish and shrimp combo) and it was enough to fill all of us up. The taste was great and the fried rice was really good too.
The server was very polite and she brought out all the sauces and things we needed.

So glad we followed what a Yelp review said “don’t judge a book by its cover”. We tried Dickinson Seafood yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Good food, good portion, and at a good price. The girl there, didn’t catch her name, was working super hard for being the only one up front. Just wanted to give her and them a positive review.

Their fried calamari was excellent! I’d rate them 5 stars if it were not for the very small oysters. I ordered 6 and my guess is that I received 8 because they were so small (18 would be more comparable). Nonetheless, everything was cooked well, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. I ordered take-out and am pleased with the friendly service.

The first time we went here the food was great, especially the chicken gumbo, and grilled salmon. The second time I took my mom raving to her about how delicious this place was, an boy did I look like a fool. She loves fried fish extra crispy so she got that, her and I tried a little piece and it was super gummy an distasteful, didn’t even eat it. The colder it got the gummier, and chewier it got. I had the chicken gumbo and it tasted like fish soup, very disappointing for me. Will not be darkening their door ever again, I’ll just go to Baytown seafood to get better fish, an gumbo.
