Disclaimer: Before all of the pit-masters and barbecue lovers come for me, I rate places for what they are, not comparatively to other spots. We all know Dickey’s is not going to beat a real barbecue joint.

Alright, now that’s out the way, let’s continue with the review. This Dickey’s is situated in a strip mall just south of Everett. Parking was a breeze and I was able to order within 30 seconds of entering the store.

I went with the 3-meat plate and chose the sliced brisket, kielbasa sausage, and pork ribs. For sides I went with the mac and cheese along with the potato salad. The total with tip and a drink came out to $30 dollars.

The food came out within 10 minutes and was sufficiently heated (not a given with Dickey’s locations so I have to give them that). The staff were quick and friendly as well.

While the meats were decent, I totally forgot that Dickey’s sides are all pre-made, leaving me with a rough experience. The side door was also open which let in a draft of 36 degree wind, which definitely did not improve things.

Overall, I think that this is a stock standard Dickey’s. It won’t knock your socks off but it’s quick and easy. 4/5.

I found plastic in my chopped brisket meal, I’m missing barbecue sauce, and I have a side of beans for some reason. It was a delivery order and the store wanted me to drive the half hour there to pick up new food.

I called the catering phone # on 12/21/25 to inquire about ordering a prime rib for Christmas dinner and if they had any left. I was thinking it was a long shot. I first asked for the Marysville location and was told they were sold out. She then looked at other local stores for me and I was told that the Everett store location had them available. I paid over the phone at that time for the prime rib which was over $275. I was not upset for the price we were very excited to have it for Christmas dinner for our entire family.
Then on 12/23 about 4:30 pm comes the problem. The problem THAT IS STILL ONGOING.
I get a call from one of the managers of the Everett location Trenton. Whom was very nice, but told me that they never received their order of prime rib and that the manager had cancelled our order and that he had refunded our order. He told me we would get the money back in 24 to 48 hours.  Now this gives me less than 2 days to figure out a main course for my entire family AND potentially change the entire menu if we have to change the main course. AND I have to fork out more money before I get a refund in a time of year that is already super expensive. I was not offered any other solutions from them or any other cuts of meat. Just sorry!
So my husband goes to 3 other stores also sold out of prime rib, while I am calling around to stores and we finally found one.
Anyone who has ever had to prepare an entire holiday dinner knows the stress and planning that goes into it. It was awful!
On January 2nd I called Trenton, the manager that I spoke to on 12/23 and told him we still had not gotten a refund yet. He said really? All of the other customers have.
My thought was Really?!?!?!?! Did they call you and tell you that. I am sure that they did not; no one calls to say they got a refund. Well at least no one that I know.
He said that he would talk to the manager Scott but he was sick so didn’t know when that would be but that it would be sometime later that day. He said he would text me after he talks to him. I never did get a text…..  But hours later I did FINALLY get an email that says your refund has been initiated.
Here it is the 13th of January, again 3 weeks after that first phone call and 11 days after the email and we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND.
This is unacceptable and a horrible business model. Every bit of it. They never offered us any alternatives. Never tried to make it right. Not a great way to run a company!
I don’t feel like any real genuine care was given to me or the situation.
I understand that them not getting their delivery is not their fault, but figure out something to take care of your customers. I feel like I was never important to them and my business is not important to them.
I will for sure NEVER go to the Everett location the evidently could care less about their customers and will not use the Dickey’s catering services every again!

First, everyone should use Dickey’s catering to help during the holiday season! Their meat is RIDICULOUS! It’s so delicious and all of your guests will love it! I like the Cajun Turkey, and I get it a day early and just reheat and it’s always fall off the bone moist! We also go to Dickey’s year round and the BBQ is delicious and a definite household fave. The cost is super reasonable and the meat is the star of the show.

The Everett location is my go to – the service is awesome! Such a great team, fabulous food and it’s easy to take home and re-heat as well if you need something in a pinch.

Decent barbecue at a decent price. You can get multiple cuts of meat, and the sides selection is pretty good. However, some misses here on he sides selwction like greens or cornbread not being available. Also, this particular location has a broken soft serve ice cream machine, so don’t expect that free cone after your meal. It sounds like it won’t be fixed until Summer 2025 either… Parking isn’t bad, but getting to the restaurant can be a bot of a challenge due to the divided road that fronts it.

I called their catering number a few days in advance of needing a lunch to be set up and delivered to a nearby job site for work. They were absolutely terrific to work with. Picked up the phone first try and listen to tentatively as we decided what to get. The delivery was spot on time with delicious food and plenty of it for a very good prize. I will make note to use these folks again for offsite catering. Keep up the excellent work team!

Spent a few min looking at the (broken) drive up menu, decided on picnic meal. Guy said it came with three sides so we picked three. Asked if we could split the meat into two half pounds and he had to ask another worker who said we could do two 1/2lb meals or whatever. Guy said okay now it’s 4 sides so we wanted double beans. Only received two sides. They forgot the BBQ sauce we ordered. Made it way too confusing, guy at the window kept walking away to ask someone else about stuff and didn’t give us one of the sides we wanted plus we only got two “rolls” which are like oatmeal muffins or something? This was like $50. Get a regional manager down here to put your people in check, worse than most fast food places and this is supposed to be a step above.

I just moved here from Texas about 5 months ago and have been hunting for a good BBQ place with good potatoes. I was skeptical at first, but this place definitely delivered. My roommate got cheddar jalapeño and said it was so cheesy and the sausage melted right in your mouth.

The owner is very kind as well as the whole staff. This might be my new go to BBQ place

Below average BBQ (just an opinion from a Texan). The sliced brisket was so dry that drowning it in sauce didn’t help. The pork ribs had decent flavor, but again they were just dry and tough. The pulled pork was just as dry, but with less flavor.

The sides were ok (fried okra, Mac n cheese, and brisket chili). Would not recommend this spot based on the taste and pricing, but might try again far in the future if things change.

Fry Me to the Moon because this location serves Seattle’s Spud Supreme! From baked potato casserole, loaded baked potato to farm to fryer french fries!

In the bustling heart of the Pacific Northwest, where coffee is king and rain reigns supreme, one humble side dish is quietly stealing the spotlight and it’s coming in hot from the Dickey’s BBQ.

It all begins with fresh, local potatoes, born from local farms’ fertile soil and destined for greatness. These aren’t your average spuds. No, these are future legends, sliced with care and baked or fried with flair until they reach golden, crispy perfection. Each fry is a love letter to crunch, a sonnet of salt and satisfaction.

But what truly elevates these golden batons from simple to sublime is their freshness swagger. Kissed by the essence of freshness and served with a wink of Southern soul, these fries know how to walk the fine line between comfort food and culinary art.

Forget truffle oil and aioli theatrics, Dickey’s fries don’t need a gimmick. They’ve got that classic, no-nonsense charm that keeps you reaching back for more, even when your plate is supposed to be about the brisket.

So if you find yourself in Everett/Seattle area, craving a crispy companion to your ribs or just a shoulder to lean on, look no further. At Dickey’s, the fries don’t play second fiddle. They’re front and center, golden and glorious, fried and true.
