Disgusting. Second time this month I ordered from Dickie’s. Last time they messed up the baked potato. This time The didn’t have any baked potatoes. I ordered for pickup and set the time for 45 minutes. They didn’t have time to make a baked potato? Or fresh fries?! Look at those nasty grey fries. They smelled like dirty oil.

I don’t usually do reviews but this location at the very least deserves this. It was my birthday over the weekend, and wow did they not deliver. My family ordered online because I used to really like this place, even ordering it for my birthday for the last 4 years, but I won’t be going back ever again with how my family was treated. We spent over $150 and got less than $40 of food, some of which was frozen and was all cold and dry. The manager said that they themselves packed it and refused to give a refund even after we could give them pictures of the little amount they gave. This was a horrible experience which I won’t be going back to again, I wish I could’ve given zero stars.

I ordered via GrubHub, and my food arrived early. The ordering and delivery experience was normal.
The food? Hard pass. Inedible.
I am from North Carolina and while we may have our own issues deciding between tomato based or vinegar based sauce (vinegar all the way), we at least know that what matters most is the meat.
The pictures don’t do it justice. It smelled old and burnt. Not like “delicious burned ends” but like “why are we serving this to humans.”

My wife and I stopped in at 11:30am on Saturday November 8th. We frequently eat at Dickey’s in Hillsboro and always enjoy the food. This time however was different. We ordered two Brisket sandwiches, one coleslaw, and one fried okra. I took one bite and asked my wife, does this taste funny?? She had the same reaction, saying the meat tasted like it was going bad. The brisket was TERRIBLE. Thought maybe it was just the first bite. Nope, even after dousing it with BBQ sauce it was disgusting. The okra and coleslaw was good, like it usually is. We were pressed for time so I told the employees that the meat tasted bad. “Sorry” was all that we got. No offer for refund or credit…..$37 meal.

I go there once in a great while when I need a bbq fix and don’t want to spend my whole day making bbq ribs myself. Even though I can make perfectly good bbq ribs myself this place is very good when you need the fix and don’t have the time. Price is good and I’ve always had great customer service along with great tasting bbq food. Great job people!!

They have GREAT Bar-B-Que!!! They are always nice and they greet everyone that comes thru the door.
We enjoy the 2 meat meal that comes with your choices of sides. We get potatoes salad and baked beans. A bit rustic and wonderful smells! The materials used in the construction of the place. The prices are great and they even have deals on their website, so need to check out their website for these. The only thing I can add is just go there! You won’t be disappointed We love it! Just the overall experience. The pulled pork. The brisket. Nope, just that people need to go and find out for themselves how great it is. The food! Delicious The prices, the people that work there and the food. The staff were great and we’re very nice. Nothing. That’s it

Anha and Toby were the Easily the best workers I’ve ever met in my life. They went above and beyond to make sure that my meal was amazing. I am beyond pleased with my experience. Moved into the neighborhood about 6 months ago. Sometimes I want BBQ and this is the closest option. Ordered from here 3 times and each time the order is wrong and / or items are missing. Quality is 3/10 at best and the staff legit couldn’t care less about it. I never leave bad food reviews but this place deserves it more than any – save your money and go somewhere else!

Very commercial feel and flavor is almost not even present. Beans had very little flavor no extras and plain. Green beans same, meat same, and dry. Convenient? Yes. Worth it? Maybe. Add flavor yall throw some onions, peppers, and sausage or some sauce in the beans; throw some cajun in ya greens, marinade in tabasco, step ya game up!!!
