Although this place might be a little bit expensive, I have to say they do accept EBT food snap, so if your low on cash, want to splurge snap ebt is accepted and you can use that cash for the tip ( if your like me and can’t not tip) it is some yummy food, this is definitely the place to be. I think that the days that they have “specials” on each particular day every single week, is the best value, I was looking at this menu after ordering. I wanted to get ribs, but I saw that there was special for them on a certain day, so anyways, also they deliver through the apps but some of the sides aren’t on the apps yet, so just understand that, also I noticed major deals( like decent and way better then if single dish walk ins cost) they offer catering, well the price for the catering is of a really good deal way better then if you were to buy a single item. and it like I said the food is delicious So that’s a win win if your looking for quality +affordability.

$31 for a drink two sides and a small potion of meat is not worth. I could’ve got two and half foot longs at subway, and it would’ve had more meat than this. Won’t ever come back. Lucille’s BBQ is better. Texas would be ashamed

The Compton location decided not to make my online order but waited until I made the drive to Compton to tell me this. Liliana explained that the Compton location does not honor rewards points because their franchise is losing money when they do. David, another manager, interjected and said it’s because their POS system would not allow it. I tried to ask David about my order but he was very rude and would not let me speak because he was trying to close the store. I realize I wasted money on overpriced BBQ because I was lied to about a reward for my BBQ purchases. I wasted a lot of money on BBQ to obtain points I can’t use because they disappeared when David cancelled the order.. I can’t believe I drove to Compton just to see David freak out about an online order that used rewards points.. he hates those points so much that he erased them from my account! Don’t order ahead and drive to Compton like I did! They won’t make your order and they won’t notify you that something is wrong.. but they will yell at you when you try to pickup your order if they realize you used your reward points to make a purchase. Apparently they expect you to be psychic and know all this ahead of time (bait and switch – false and deceptive advertising is strictly prohibited in California). This place has obvious management issues. No wonder they are losing money.. I suggest avoiding this location at all costs. Plenty of better BBQ options in the area.

Dickey’s bbq pit in Compton, CA service was nice but portions were for kids of age 3. Mac and cheese was dry, okra tasted burnt, chicken dry and stiff like jerky, brisket and kelbasa very good. I left a three dollar tip before I checked my order. Should of took it back. My second and last time buying food there. I threw that food away, I reheated it at home in the oven, tasted oily, dry and rubbery. Even the roll got doughy.

Oh boy, let me tell you about Dickeys Barbecue in Compton! The food they serve is nothing short of a masterpiece. It all starts with their dedication to using the freshest ingredients. They make you feel the love they pour into every dish, and it shows!

Food was just ok got the brisket baked potato and it was advertised to have tons of meat and I barely had any. I had more sour cream than meat and it didn’t have the cheese sauce at all. Food was cold I had to warm it up when I got home. Ribs where seasoned good but not as tender as they could have been and my boxes where very dirty. I don’t like my food served in containers that have food or sauce all over the outside. I didn’t appreciate having to go home and melt my own cheese and make a cheese sauce for the potato that lacked meat. Like it said it was not great but it was not nasty either just ok. But it really was not worth 80 bucks.

We orders food for takeout, around $80 for 3 people. When my dad went to go pick it up the order was all messed up. Instead of sliced brisket, they gave us chopped brisket. We didn’t get our fries, any of the 5 Texas toasts, no sauces, none of our 3 Mac n cheese, and we got potato casserole and green beans which we didn’t order. We showed up to get our order fixed and this dude was still chopping brisket when we asked for sliced and they didnt have any more mac n cheese, like cmon dude. If you want to eat here DO NOT ORDER ON ONLINE ITS A WASTE !!! there are better places to spend your money !!

I am highly disappointed with this Dickies location.I understand inflation, but the prices have sky rocketed! And for less portions at that! When it first opened, food was on point and prices were reasonable. I hope they take these reviews into consideration and readjust the prices and portions.

Took a really long time for my food to be rung up despite only being the 3rd person there. Prices have gone up way higher than only a year ago. 16 for a single sandwich? The lady said if I knew it would be 17.50. But at ring up I paid 18.60. Also it was really dark in the restaurant.

It was not good at all. They didn’t have Hardly nothing That was on the menu we wanted to order and the things that they did have my friend ordered the Stuffed potato and they told us they only had 2 shrimp. They had a nice dining area and when we finally got our food they didn’t ask us where we’re eating in they just put everything in the bag and tied it in a knot as if we wanted to take the food home but we wanted to eat inside. The Service was bad I will never come back and I’m going to let all my friends know it not worth it and we $89 for A stuffed potato with 2 shrimps on top because they didn’t have enough and 2 fish dinners with 2 pieces of tilapia macaroni and cheese and greens not good at all.
